The Theramit came into being as a result of the ideas and creativity of a sportswear designer and a Physiotherapist specialising in Rheumatology. It was then refined by Theramit Ltd with the help of NHS Therapists based in local hospitals conducting trials and providing valuable patient feedback.
The result is a natural product, totally sourced and produced in the UK, manufactured from 100% cotton and filled with the finest English wheat. The mitt is heated in the microwave, very simple to use and contains a programme of exercises that help increase joint mobility and alleviate pain.
Simply heat the Theramit in the microwave, following the instructions included. Slip your hand inside the mitt, follow the recommended exercise programme and feel the warmth relieve your painful joints.
Theramit today is used in many NHS hospitals by Physiotherapists, Hand Therapists and Occupational Therapists to treat patients with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Raynaud's syndrome as well as patients recovering from hand surgery requiring physiotherapy.
