Easy Wearing
Due to medical condition, I have an on going battle with swollen feet and ankles, and buying comfortable foot wear is a big problem. Not so with these Fisherman sandals. I can put them on with minimal effort and wear them all day with ease.YES. I recommend them to anyone for great summer wear.

NOT as expected, Width way too small a fit.
So the "HIts it out of the Park" is totally wrong. Shoe looks good and I initially was pleased until I tried getting the stupid things on. The review that indicated that their swollen foot fit, has got to be an exaggeration from a tiny grandmother. After mechanically shoe stretching and the application of isopropyl alcohol to the leather, the left shoe fit with flesh bulging out the sides. The right shoe has my big toe in it midway. Really?? These are marked 11W they should fit like a dream! This must be another case of Asian sizing. I am a 6' 3" American male. These things don't fit correctly. After this manipulation I can hardly send them back. Mark me very very disappointed.

This shoe would be great for someone who doesn't ask too much of their shoes.
Unfortunately, for someone like me, who is extremely active, they died in spectacularly short order. I wear the same shoes to work (in an office) commuting (on a bike) at play (with my 6 & 9 year olds) doing yard work (pushing a mower through stuff that should be cleared with a bushhog) cutting down trees in the forest (yes, I really do wear sneakers doing this) and sundry other things. I ask a lot of my shoes. These couldn't do it. The only thing they DID do well, was that they were breathable. I chalk up this ability to the fact that these shoes are designed for someone with a lot more padding than I have- my feet were swimming in these things (even though they were the right length, et c.). The soles separated about three months after I bought them (shoe goo to the rescue), and the pleather started to delaminate fairly soon after arrival, around the toebox in particular. Oh well. I don't feel I can return them because, as I mention, I ask a lot of my shoes, and these were distinctly WORN. I could make further comment, but I feel I need to stop before I start making emotional snipes against them. They are what they are. I still have them. I'll probably use them for shuffling around in the basement until I work up the courage to chuck them. I just got some Keen Rialtos, and though they cost a bit more, they are 10x the shoe; more durable (real leather), more traction (deeper lugs), more adjustable fit (elasto-lace thingies). And they do look a bit better. Sorry, couldn't help it. Should've stopped.

Good for certain purposes
I bought these but returned them. I ordered both the black and the brown. Brown color is okay, but the black is definitely nicer. They're nice looking sandals, but they're not fancy or for anything close to dress. They're made of synthetic material which makes them good for water use. Think of them as athletic type sandals. Except they're not for heavy duty use, like some others. The soles are pretty thin; not for hiking or bolders. I think they're suitable for use at the beach or simple non-exercise walking. I have a normal width foot and found these too roomy, although they might have worked with a thick sock. The sandal has two adjustable straps, one over the ankle and one over the heel. The one over the heel seemed a bit large for my foot even on the tightest adjustment.

I like sandals but hate thong sandles. I have trouble with standard back strap sandles...These ROCK
First the are Nunn Bush....which means its a real company behind the product. Second, at least for me (I have a large shoe size) it is hard to find sandals that comfortably fit. I have had these sandals less than a week and have worn them every night for 5 days. They feel great and I have truly had no problem with the fit. I have no doubt that given that everyone has a different shoe size there are going to be issues with mail order sizing. However, I can only report my result and these sandals are incredibly comfortable. Can't wait until full summer and wearing them outdoors....

Comfortable, fits wide feet.
These Nunn Bush sandals are a comfortable replacement for my 15+ year-old Shaka sandals. These have a nice synthetic cushioned insole that provides a good amount of support without being too stiff. Normally I wear size 12 wide-13 shoes (I'm 6'-1" +200#), so I was a bit surprised these ran a little bit big. But I was able to tighten the straps just enough to be snug. For the price, Nunn Bush shoes usually get my money's worth when it comes to work dress shoes wearing them 8-13 hours a day, 3-5 days a week for about 4-5 years our so.

WIDE swollen foot accommodated superbly
I’m recovering from a broken right foot and I’m four months out from surgery to mend it with a titanium plate and seven screws. Thus, my feet are unevenly sized at present. My left foot is a normal size 12W-extra W. Finding ANY sandals in a wide required a protracted search. I was delighted to find that these Nunn Bush sandals actually fit nicely on BOTH feet. Even my still swollen and slightly misshapen right foot was accommodated superbly. I haven’t given them a decent trial by wearing them yet, but I’m very impressed with the initial fit.

Not the Nunn Bush
These didn't hold up for me like Nunn Bush shoes I had in the past. The fake leather is a very thin layer over what I assume is a rubber surface. I had to reglue both of the soles back in place already. I do wear them almost everyday, and I wear shoes much harder than most. They are comfortable and light and if you aren't a sh8tkicker like they may be good for you. I've just read reviews from other active people, and they seem to agree; these don't hold up at all. I'm going back to Rockport. My last pair of Rockport sandals held up for years. These Nunn bush are falling apart after serval months.

Super, super comfy
I have always stuck to the same brand name for sandals. That is now history. These guys, the sandals are super comfy. Perfect fit and can only be described as "walking on marshmallows" . You will not regret buying them

Good, fits well, but doesn't feel solid.
It fits very well (12W). There are additional fitting Velcro attachments at the back with are nice but it creates more 'wear' points. Hasn't been an issue for me, but I don't walk long distances in the sandals.Only minor issue is that the feel a little ... 'not solid'. Been wearing them for a few weeks an no issues so far... but time will tell. 4 stars because the seem very good for the price.

These are great shoes
My husband only wears fisherman shoes and it is hard to find shoes that work really well for him, give him the support he needs, have enough room in the toe box so his gouty toes are not irritated and stand up to lots of walking. These sandals fill the bill in all these areas and are a reasonable price as well. So here's hoping they stand the test of time as well.

Pretty good sandals actually
I am a size 14, felt these are a skosh too big but still fit fine. Comfortable and I wore them all summer and they are holding up very well.

Great sandals. I received them a week ago and I have just ordered a second pair.
Great sandals. I received them a week ago and I have just ordered a second pair. After 10 months of every day use the sandals are great. Especially useful for orthotic wearers. The weakest point is the closure. Velcro became worn out and opens up by itself. 3M Dual Lock may work better, but the closure can be hacked the with a G hook buckle and 3”x1” piece of webbing, see photo. Some easy stitching required. Keep up the good work Nunn Bush.
