Great

Comfortable and beautiful. Waiting to see if they are also good for the winter season.

25 years of the same exact Timberlands and suddenly WAY too narrow

I ordered WIDE. In the same style, same size Timberland boots I've been wearing for 25 years. (5 pairs worth).Until now, every pair of Timberlands felt like slippers from day one and got better with time, until I wore them to pieces. (All day, ever day; construction). This last pair - wow. Super narrow. Crazy unbelievably narrow. I contacted Timberland who said the wide width is now only .2" wider than regular, and regular width has been "re-engineered".You can read that as "intentionally narrowed down to save money on materials for more profit".An online search brought up hundreds of similar complaints from angry and confused long time customers. While searching for ACTUAL wide work boots.... I found the same (waht happened boots are too narrow all of a sudden) complaints from Every quality work boot manufacturer. I'd list all the brands I tried but Azon will probably refuse to print this. Sorry guys. After tying up well over $1200 in "wide width" work boots that don't fit wide feet at all.. and losing an avg of $8/pair in return fees...I FOUND WORKBOOTS THAT COMFORTABLY FIT WIDE FEET.I hope this helps someone else: Get Military Reeboks. Amazon has them. I got the Reebok Rapid Response RB8977. Plenty wide enough. Time will tell how they hold up to construction work. And YES Reebok makes sizes to fit women.

Say YES to the boots!

I absolutely love these boots! Comfortable, seem to be well made, true to size and look great. They’re a classic. I was in the market for a nice pair of multi function boots for hiking, tactical wear and just general purpose. They definitely won’t be an every day wear for me personally (more of a converse kinda girl) but they will certainly serve their purpose when I need them.I can’t speak to the durability yet since I’ve only just received them today. They are supposed to be waterproof but I haven’t tested that claim yet. I would recommend a leather protector before wearing. Maybe even a waterproofing spray for good measure.SOO glad they’re NOT steel toe. Didn’t need or want that and it’s hard to find a quality pair that aren’t. They’re not heavy necessarily but they do have some weight to them. A steel toe would just be overkill if you’re not required to have it.As far as sizing, I typically range from an 8 to a 9 depending on the shoe and for the sake of width and high arches... if wide width is an option, I will definitely choose that over the alternative. I have high arches that actually would put me in a size 9 for regular wear but my feet are much shorter than a 9 and I absolutely swim in them.I wear a size 8 in converse, 7 in hey dude’s, and 8.5-9 in a heel. I ordered an 8.5 in these boots since there wasn’t a wide width available and they are very comfortable and I have plenty of room for thick socks and/or inserts.Hope this helps!

Returned mine

They were bigger than what it said. Also, I really didn't end up liking how tall boot height was.

Boot runs 1 size over average boot

Very comfortable 5, quality 4.5, runs 1 size larger that average boots.

You won’t regret the purchase!

My daughter ordered these and here’s what she had to say: “These boots are AWESOME. I was skeptical about buying these for a couple reasons, one being even though my boyfriend kept telling me if I wore timberlands my feet wouldn’t freeze in the winter weather but I thought no because they’re stereotyped as GUYS boots, and two being because I couldn’t find these ANYWHERE in stock at the stores in my area..and ordering apparel of any kind besides hoodies online has always been a big no no for me. I am SO glad I bought these. Windchill temps have been in the -20s for us for the past week, and not once have my feet froze when wearing these! They do run have a size smaller than I have been wearing, normally I wear a 7 in shoes..I bought a 7.5 as it was the only 7 something size in stock, and because I thought well I could wear boot socks if they’re too big. No need! They fit just right. They don’t stretch much, but I’m sure that might change as they get broken in. I haven’t worn them for any extended periods of time yet, so I can’t speak on the comfort aspect. Though, if you’re walking on snow you may have to adjust your weight on your feet differently..they seem quite slippery on snow covered roads! Overall, I am very happy about my purchase!

My wife loves her new boots

Got these boots for my wife to ride on the motorcycle. We ride to a bridge on Sundays and walk the bridge. She said these boots are more comfortable than her sneakers.

Better than Preminum version.

I bought this pair based on these amazing review by Jesse W. written on December 7, 2018, on Amazon.com:---- Quote -----Question:****What is the difference this and the premium 6-inch boot?****Answer:—Tongue: The Premium has a single piece of leather while the Pro has a leather exterior with a padded cloth interior.—Lining: Both boots offer 200g of insulation. The Premium has cloth lining in the toe half and leather lining in the heel half. The Pro has a cloth lining throughout.—Width: The Premium is a bit more slim-fitting than the Pro. I happen to prefer a 9W in the Premium and a 9.5M in the Pro.—Laces: The Premium has thinner laces that are not as easy to tighten or keep tied.—Cushion: The Premium is less cushioned than the Pro. This is particularly true since the Premium has a stiff rubber-like midsole and the Pro has a foam one.—Tread: The Pro has thicker tread aka deeper lugs.—Weight: The Pro is a lighter boot.Timberland is known for its iconic Premium boot in Wheat, but if I had to choose between the two, I would pick the Pro. It is more cushioned, has a better grip, quality materials and is often cheaper than the Premium....The reviewer is absolutely right about everything. And I'm absolutely happy with this purchase!

More slippery than steel toes

To start, I have the steel toe version of these for work and LOVE them. I was wearing them outside work so much, so I decided to get the soft toe version to extend the life of my steel toes. These aren’t as comfortable as the steel toe somehow, maybe they just need to be broken in more. My steel toes are great on ice and slippery surfaces, these are AWFUL. Even on hard packed snow I find myself afraid of slipping while in my steel toes I’m very confident even on ice. That being said, they are quite warm.
