Simple, easy to use and aligns with the readings I get from the GP

Now well into our 40's, we thought it was time to monitor blood pressure on more regular basis.First up it was important to get something easy to use. This is just that. Simply strap on, press start and the rest is all automatic, providing a reading after 10-15 seconds along with heart rate. As you can see from the video, it's pretty straight forward. As far as extra features, there aren't many meaning a simple device but it does record and store up to 90 readings so you can step through the history of your results. If, like us, you are sharing with a partner you can switch between 2 users thus keeping your history separate and therefore easier to track.Looking at history records is done by starting with the screen off. Pressing MEM will bring up the results and keep pressing will cycle through stepping back in time.Pressing SET from the off position cycles through a few basic settings eg changing user, setting date and time. The Red, Amber, Green bar on the side is useful as it provides a simple lookup instead of referring to a table.Accuracy is pretty much spot on. I haven't yet done a side by side comparison but the results I get from this are pretty much the same as I get from the device our GP has in the reception. I've also taken it into work and passed it around, with most of my team of Project Managers loving the simplicity and ability to get a reading regularly without spending much money. All in all a great buy for everyone, particularly us data hungry types.

Decent packaging and with instruction in different languages
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this one to gift it to my brother, as he has had high blood pressure and now is becoming a new dad, so I think this item is a must to have now for him😂, as becoming a dad will bring him a lot of pressure and stress! So I opened the product to test it first, but unfortunately it needed (4 I think) battery! Because I didn’t have battery, so I couldn’t test it! But will update later on when it’ll be tested. But about the products:It came in decent acceptable package and has everything is needed apart from the battery 😂It has 2 big manual descriptions, one in English and the other in some other languages such as Italian, french, Dutch if I’m right, which I found it really convenient, as nit everyone might know if English or some prefer it in their own native language or they might find it easier to understand in another language. The monitor, it looks it’s made of quite good quality, as it’s nice when you touch it, it doesn’t feel like touching plastic if you know what I mean?!So it’s nicely finished product. The bottoms I pressed them, they are easy to touch and press and no issues with thatThe other part that you wrap around the arm is also fine material in my opinion! However as I said, about its function I will update later. But so far I’m happy and gave positive feelings about it.I hope my review would be helpful to you! I would appreciate if you hit the bottom helpful, if it’s bedn helpful to you?!Thank you

Caution
The product is fine as far as ease of use and accuracy are concerned - the readings agree with those my GP has recently taken and with readings off a similar (Broadcare BC2002) unit. The latter was very similar to this unit and also came with a travel bag and was powered via a integral, USB rechargeable battery ( USB cable supplied). Sadly, I managed to get the cable mixed up with another and ended up semi-destroying the USB socket on the Broadcare in trying to insert the wrong cable. I bought this product as a replacement pending the Broadcare's battery discharging -- I have no means now of recharging it.The new unit attracted me as it had a top customer review rating. I ordered one and it arrived the following day -well today to be precise - courtesy of Amazon Prime. The first thing that that struck me was that the description on the Amazon page stated that a travel bag is supplied with it. Well, there wasn't, not with the one I received. More importantly, the description states -somewhat ambiguously - that it has "dual power supply (battery supply + USB supply). Well, it certainly can be powered via 4 AA batteries. However, I wanted to be able to avoid using batteries - well, other than rechargeable ones - so I was disappointed to find there was no USB lead, no USB power adapter and no USB socket on the unit. The printed manual indicated that there was an optional AC adapter available. This adapter was not referred to on the item's Amazon page. The manual referred to this as a "standard ac adaptor" and there was a picture showing a non UK ac-adaptor. Evidently this didn't involve any USB connection - at either end!!!Whilst it It did occur to me that I could buy a UK AC adapter, it was unclear what sort of dc connector and connections were needed at the unit for feeding DC so this would pose some problems. Of course, I could have used rechargeable AA batteries but, in the end I thought, to hell with all this. I would be spending more money and the unit was, after all, at the top end of the price range of a number of very similar monitors. I decided to return it.....and, hooray, Amazon provided one within a few hours. Top marks to Amazon here. I ordered one day, it arrived the next, I returned it the day of its arriving and they have notified me of the refund being in my account within 5-6 hours of my posting it.If you can live with using batteries (rechargeable or not) then the unit will likely serve you well. If you want a monitor powered via USB, forget it.
