Would work great but not made for anyone short waisted

I am a new mother and am 8 months postpartum. I have a little pooch looking stomach in the very front and am still dealing with self confidence issues because of my new mom body. So I bought this after a long time of looking and debating. I was very nervous thinking that it might turn out bad, roll down constantly, show through clothing or even be painful. I never had tried anything like this before because I never needed it until now. First off, get your right size for your waist and hips. Don’t try to fit into a smaller size because it might be uncomfortable and restricting and that’s no fun. I bought the nude colored thong one and wear it under dresses and pants. The only issue is if you have a big bottom like I do, if might be uncomfortable if you adjust it on your stomach, possibly giving yourself a little bit of a wedgie.It makes my body have a more defined hour glass figure by smoothening out my loose skin and love handles. It does sometimes show the boning through clothes like solid light colored clothing. So maybe I suggest wearing clothing with patterns on it or dark colored if you’ll be around a lot of people.I wash it by hand with soap and cool water and let it air dry on the shower rod. This is how you allow your shapewear to stay in tact and also to not shrink either.Overall, this is a good product and I’m happy! I just ordered another.

Someone else stated that the seams are relatively thick so be wary of thin, tight clothing. She was right, but even with an extremely tight tube dress I was able to wrinkle the dress in a way that you couldn’t notice the seams so much. I was still conscious of it the whole night - but not as conscious as I would be if my stomach were sticking out. Another thing I noticed was that the actual thong part was pretty short. I wouldn’t say I wear my thongs “high-waisted,” but I wanted the creases to be above my butt, not on it. So the crotch area was a little tight, but after a while (and a few drinks at the party) I didn’t notice it. Overall worth the price for me, just know what to expect.

I got a large I’m 5’1 178 lbs thick at the bottom smaller at the top (breast wise) have a little stomach and the product did not hold in my stomach the way i liked i feel I should Have got a small but the thong part kind of hurt so I’m guessing the small would have been worse and you could also see it a little bit under your clothes think I’ll try a medium and put this one in the dryer a couple of times
