Awesome upgrate
I have a Mazda 6 in entry level trim where it comes with woofer on front and rear door, and pair of tweeter on the door. The original tweeter sounded very dim, muddy just not good at all.The woofers have good bass, you can tell it was boosted, but they did a good job, it sounded pretty good.So I knew I only needed to replace the tweeter, factory tweeter is 0.75" but it have plastic shrouds around the tweeter, the opening for the tweeter is about 1" so this 1" tweeter fitted perfectly, I use hot glue gun to hold it in place. Put the cover back, no one can tell anything was changed, perfect.I picked this set because it's titanium, I listened to the Acura's Premium sound system in the current gen TSX with 1" titanium tweeter it sounded very good so I wanted the same.Sound quality with this tweeter compared to the OEM one is night and day, the high is clear as it can be, music sounds much better than before, and I don't feel the need to replace the entire sound system at all. As a matter of fact this tweeter is better than the tweeter of BOSE system I have in my other car, I'm so tempted replace the BOSE tweeter with this as well, since BOSE tweeter are 2 ohms this would be perfect.

Cheap AF
Everything posted in the description is wrong. Sadly I installed them and opened up the opening so now I can’t go back. These are the same type you can find at the flea market 2 for $10, sound is annoying and sounds unfiltered. They are 4 ohms not 2, not 1.5” and nowhere does it say JBL. They are also way too deep. There’s a bunch of empty space. Stay away from these. Waste of space and money

Not as described.
Described as 1.5". Actually over 2.0" with 2.5" width of surrounding ring. Won't work in my car.

Great Tweeters
Wow, I had a older pair of advent speakers that wall mounted. They had gotten so bad one had failed altogether. I found these tweeters for under $50. It was a little tricky removing the old glued in tweeters from the plastic boxes but Wow. Those old speakers sound amazing now. The posting says they come with a crossover. They do not. They come with a choke that restricts the lower frequencies;. But it seems to be valued at the right spot cause they sound really good. The old advents sound better than when they were new.

Use bass blockers
They sound good for the price but they burn very quickly if you dont use bass blockers.

Super bright
Replaced all the speakers in my 2012 Durango R/T and used these to replace the front tweeters..BE WARNED these are super bright. Like 10x as bright as my Klipsch horn speakers in my house and loud. If there is music with a guitar, it will sound like someone has the guitar right up to your ear. Used the entire GTO line to swap out 6 of the 9 speakers and they sound way better than factory, at volume 24 I'd say its as loud as 30 with the factory system, but these dont sound as "turned up" loud. As in the factory speakers start to sound like an alarm clock radio turned up loud, these should like someone is screaming in your year. With an aftermarket radio where you can control the eq points, these would be great because the mid-rang frequencies need to be booster. For instance I use to listen to the highs at +3, now at -7 they are still louder than the factory tweeters. They kinda dont have much tweeter mid-range to them (1k to 5k htz), but I think that will come as the voice coil breaks in.I would give a 4 but its not the speakers, they are what tweeters are suppose to be, used for highs. My prob is the GTO 6x9's and 6.5's have these loud super high tweeters also. So a word to the wise, if you use these with other GTO speakers, set the treble on the 6x9's and 6.5's to -3db (the button in on the tweeter for those speakers), or a graphic equalizer, you have to trim the frequencies from 5k to 20k htz. Also just so you know, the factory 6x9's had more bass than the GTO 6x9's, these just sound more clear....but with 1/2 the bass...so if you have a Durango 2011+ i'd leave the Alpine 6x9's in there and replace the center with an Infinity Ref center, and these for tweeters.***Update...just changed my review to 3 starts. These things are just too bright at over 10k htz. They dont sound crystal clear, they sound super high pitched. Like I said I have Klipsch horns that are not this bright, I also grew up playing the flute and know what clear high frequencies should sound like. These hurt my ears. Im going to order some polk DB tweeters...

Crisp and Clean with factory radio, lots of mounting ...
Crisp and Clean with factory radio, lots of mounting options and brackets included in the box, I didn't need any of the brackets though, simply secured them in the holes of my factory Tweeters (2014 Honda Ridgeline) with electrical tape and zip ties. There appears to be a simple capacitor covered by heat shrink tubing inline in the wiring harness that comes with the tweeters, about 3 ft of wiring per tweeter.

They don't work
I would not waste your time on this set of speakers. During install, one of them didn't work straight out of the box. The second went out within 36 hours. Very dissatisfied.

Not JBL
I don't know why they get away with listing this as JBL GTO18T? clearly some rip off brand
