This is one of the best gun oil product I've ever used, I have owned guns for 52 years and have tried them all but this one is hands down the best, it doesn't leave a oily feel to the metal like most but adds a coat of great protection to it that last for months, and it cleans just as well, The price is very affordable and it takes very little so it last a long time, give it a try and try all the CLP products, you wil be glad you did!!

Use this for cleaning and lubricating. Swear by this stuff. Used this particular one for years and it keeps guns clean and functioning well. Highly recommend.

It’s been working well since the Army and it worked well then too. Not sure what their magic is, but I’ve seen the stuff free up an M240 that was stuck with carbon buildup in the middle of a firefight. One of the Infantryman’s best friends, complimentary to others. I can promise no matter what you need it for, you’ll never make it work as hard as it can. Cleans, lubricates, protects. What more do you need in a firearm oil?

I keep a bottle of this CPL on my range bag so that I always have some quality lube/cleaner available on the range. I do a a lot of shooting and don’t want to spend too much time field stripping a weapon on the range (if I can help it) to keep it running or getting it back up. I have used Break Free products for many years beginning in the army. Works great and a convenient size for the range.

I have been using CLP for weapons maintenance for more than 25 years. It is a trusted product by professionals and hobbyist alike. One of the most important aspects of owning a weapon, is knowing how to maintain it and in order to do that, you've got to have some CLP in your repertoire. As the price point might not be very competitive with other vendors, I give it 4 stars.

I use this with my pistols and long guns. I use a pistol at my home to protect myself and family from harm and even possible death from criminals breaking down my door or windows. Protection for my family is extremely important and reliability of my handgun to protect my family is absolute must work if needed. BreakFree clp is a military spec product that works. For a firearm to be 100% functional, you need something that will clean and lubricate moving parts and not gum up and will protect from rust. Few known substances in the entire world can do all of that effectively. Break free clp does just that. It's the only gun oil product I use. In other words I'm depending on my firearms to work flawlessly when they have too. Break Free CLP helps that to happen. I highly recommend this product, as I have been using it since the late 70's when it was made available for the public. It works, and my firearms don't rust in storage either. I live in Southeast Texas and humidity is always in abundance in the air here. Break Free is the only product that gives my firearms total protection from rust. There are other products out there that claim to protect, and they do, but they also evaporate fairly quickly and they do have problems with gumming up and will also allow rust to form on your firearm. Ich benutze dieses Öl schon sehr lange für die Waffenpflege und auch für alles andere was permanent geschmiert werden soll. Das "alte" Öl war bräunlich und leicht klebrig. Dieses Öl fließt wie Wasser und dringt damit einfacher in Spalten usw. ein. Die Langzeit-Tauglichkeit muss sich jedoch noch erweisen, auf der Packung steht nichts mehr von Teflon als Bestandteil...

Brilliant for lubrication of rusted bolts etc. doesn't evaporate. A customer I worked for gifted me a bottle, he was in the military and was sent out to rescue vehicles left in the middle east desert. After lubrication of stuck hinges and latches etc. overnight everything was able to be loosened and returned to UK. Highly recommend this product even though it is advertised for firearms.
