Wahl 18k Gold Plated Beard & Stubble Trimmer 100 Year Limited Edition

I bought this during lockdown after speaking to a hairdresser friend of mine and he recommended this brand- I saw this one and thought id take the plunge. I have to say, its so easy to use and they supply all the lengths you would need and it recharges fast and holds a recharge for a very long time. easy to clean too and easy to fit the adjustable lengths onto the top. looks great !I have actually got used to my hair shorter and everyone has said I look better for it, so after lockdown I will continue using it as its such a simple pain free process and makes me more self sufficient.!

I have no idea how, but the charge on the battery lasted me like 3 months!! That is the honest truth. I thought it was never going to run flat!!!

Amazing battery

My box arrived today - however the interior of the box stank so bad- it smelled like someone had spat something rotten inside it or actually wiped their bottom with it - will make a complaint and she then if anyone in my family gets COVID 19

A: I bought the gold clipper. It is gorgeous to look at and runs smooth and strong. It was built in the USA (rather than Hungary) and has a very long lasting battery. However, even with the Amazon discount price, it is more than twice as expensive as the brushed stainless steel version and only includes the stubble guard combs. Wahl's quality control is generally excellent, so I expect consistently good products are built in both Hungary and the USA. It depends on whether you are happy to pay the premium to own the gold plated limited edition version.
