Very Impressive for the Price, it's a Little Workhorse of a Pot!
I picked up the 0.6 quart butter warmer/small pot, and it’s honestly an amazing little find. For the price, it’s hard to beat. The material itself feels solid and durable, and the thick, weighted bottom gives it excellent stability and helps it sit evenly on the stovetop. It heats up quickly and retains heat well, which makes it perfect for small batches of sauce, melting butter obviously, or just general warming and cooking purposes. The handle is classic Farberware style sturdy plastic that stays cool during stovetop use (though it does limit oven use, but that’s not really an issue given the pot’s size). I also love the spout design, which makes pouring super easy without making a mess. It’s deep enough to be useful but still compact and easy to store. All in all, this little pot is an impressive workhorse in the kitchen. Super handy and definitely recommended!

Nice little pot!
I’ve stopped boiling water in the microwave and this little pot is perfect for when I want a quick cup of tea or bowl of oatmeal. The design is very pretty yet durable. Water boils really fast. Not very big but it’s perfect for that cup of tea or bowl of oatmeal. I think it would probably be amazing for fondue!

well made.
It's a beautiful little double boiler. I love it. Nice and heavy. extra clad bottom for great heat distribution. Typical quality for this brand. Love it. This pan will cook one cup dry rice 2 cup water. comes out fluffy and beautiful. No sticking, no tending just fill to bottom of top pan with water so it is almost touching top pan, Let the stove do the rest. Who needs a stupid electric pot. This makes beautiful fluffy rice, any type of cooked cereal, no stirring to watching. Love it. I use it several times a week.

An excellent buy - and not made in China!
OK - so it was made in Thailand - but not China! Maybe I just got lucky on this one production lot?As for the pan, it's truly a dandy. The bottom is flat enough to work perfectly on my ceramic top stove which is unusual for a pan this inexpensive. Actually, it's a bit unusual for expensive pans also.I bought a very expensive set of 7 ply pans last year through Amazon and this inexpensive SS pan with the bonded aluminum bottom works every bit as well, if not better. It is heavy enough to be stable on the stove but not so heavy that this old lady has problems picking it up when it is full of soup or whatever. The reason I bought this pan is that the "3 qt. saucepan" which came with the expensive set is shaped more like what I would call a chicken fryer and is most definitely NOT a sauce pan.The expensive pans do not have rolled top edges and are impossible to pour out of even when mostly empty. This Farberware Classic pan does have rolled edges and after using a ladle to empty the soup or tea down to about half a pot I can actually pour the rest out without it running down the sides of the pan and all over the counter!I also like the way the top fits inside of the pan, preventing the condensation on the inside of the lid from running every which way when you pick it up (if you handle it properly). As with all other stainless steel pans I've ever owned, there will be white spots on the bottom after washing it if you have cooked quantities of onions and/or dried beans (even previously cooked dried beans). This is taken care of easily and quickly by putting 1/2 cup white vinegar plus 1 1/2 cups water in the pan, covering it, bringing it to a boil and then removing it from the burner and letting it sit for at least 5 minutes. Bingo: shiny pan! Please do not write a comment telling me to use Barkeepers Friend to clean the inside of my pans. It takes some of the metal off which is evident from how black the rag gets! This is OK for my stainless steel sink, but I prefer to keep my pans as close to their original thickness as possible!I hope this pan will last a very long time and that there will be no problems with the handle - which seems to be the only issue other reviewers have repeatedly mentioned.I also wish I had saved at least a couple hundred dollars and bought a complete set of the Farberware Classic pans last year.As other reviewers have stated: It would be extremely helpful to list the country where products are manufactured. I definitely would have gone for the Farberware last year if I had known they are not made in China.P.S. The booklet which came with the pan reminded us that stainless steel DOES scratch, so don't plan to use sharp edged metal utensils.

Farberware.
Great value. Long lasting. Have had my others for 50 years. Still in good shape. Can’t beat them for starter set and get long term use out of them. Easy to clean.

Very good part for the price.
Love this part. I purchased it to make tea and it’s perfect for my niece. The quality of the handle is questionable, but we will see how long it last. It looks a little flimsy so I may have to be careful but again I wouldn’t know until I use it for long. Overall, the Bill quality is good. The particular one I posted pictures for does not have a curved shape at the lip for pouring and it’s all rounded. The heat transformation looks pretty good and even. I use it to make tea so I have not cooked inside this pot. It may be a little too small for cooking purpose so you may need a bigger one for cooking meat or something like that. I paid 15 bucks on sale so I cannot complain. This is a very good part for that price.

Great pan!
I love this little pan. I primarily use it for heating milk for warm drinks. It holds enough for two good size mugs full, and cleans easily. The pot is very sturdy and the notches on the sides help it pour cleanly and neatly without spilling.
