Works for a Wellsaw Model 404 too!
It fit perfectly in my Wellsaw model 404, I did have to get longer 8-32 screws and washers, the old C-H (Cutler Hammer Eaton) trigger had a thinner profile that used short screws. I wrapped the contacts just to make sure the power can't short to the metal handle on the saw, there was some clearance, but I wanted to make sure. Also I replace the cord (Skil Wormdrive Cord Ass Repl) so I hopefully don't have to mess with it for long time. I added crimp on thin ring connectors that I soldered on to insure that the vibration wont shake them loose, make sure you get the thin ring style the thicker ones wont fit on this switch.

Size Doesn't Matter?
This part is much-smaller than the original part. At first, I was concerned that it wouldn't be compatible. Turns out it's just fine and maybe even better so the wires are not squeezed in there so tight. Be careful to follow the wiring directions though because it may not be an exact match of your existing diagram. Once I realized that, everything was fine.

Works great
I had to reconfigure the wiring for my application, but it works as it should.

No spring in the switch -very dangerous
You should feel some resistance just before the switch switches on. Not with this switch. It just goes from off to on with no feel. Very dangerous just by picking up the saw it turns on. Just by inserting your finger in the trigger slot it just turns on. Even the cheapest saws on the market has some resistance in the switch before turning on.
