Little Giant
This All-in-one printer is truly a wondrous little machine. I was fortunate to be a product tester and this printer was sent to me to review and keep. I was so amazed and happy with the results that when the printer was finally released to the public I purchased a second and gave it to my sister as a present. You can't go wrong with this little jewel. I've been spreading the word to all my friends. the picture quality is one of the best I've ever seen. We have a laser color printer where I work and this little giant produces superior prints. One more thing...Amazon.Com has the best deal in town.

Nice and easy for a non-tech.
This All- in- one is just right. It's price is great and the copies come out clear and sharp. Paper(s) feeds though with no problems, but I haven't used the scanner as yet. For me this is just superb and I am in no hurry if the speed is not as fast as other models. This suits my purpose. As far as the ink goes I do agree that they can improve on this. It really is not enough ink and it does run out fast. But on the whole it's a fine product.

Hooray for used printers :)!
So, being a college student on a budget I was in desperate need of a printer for school. So I thought I would save myself some money and buy myself a printer. I have to admit I was a little weary of buying a used electronic for so cheap because I was afraid that someone was selling me a dud printer. But I decided to take the chance anyway because the price was unbeatable. It arrived the in the earlier end of the expected delivery date. I opened the box and found that the printer was really dirty. Obviously noone had used this printer in a while, so I took so wipes and cleaned it up. In the description it noted that it didn't come with ink, but I didn't remember a thing about it saying it didn't come with program disc, so when I saw a box just filled with cords and a printer, I was a little disappointed. Luckily HP is set up so you can just download the programs you need for your printer. Anyway, my main complaint would only be the program missing and how dirty it was when it arrived, either than that I am satisfied with the printer, and glad I took the chance of buying it :D.

Would of been a good all-in-one IF I could have installed it.
I spent more than a week trying to get the HP PSC 1510 installed on my Win98SE system without success. My computer is a P3-866 with 128MB RAM, which does meet the system requirements.I made many attempts at installing the software and uninstalling, re-installing, etc. The install of the software always appeared to go OK and the All-in-One was detected by Windows and several drivers were loaded. However, after everything was done and Windows was restarted the 1510 was not listed as an available printer when either printing a document or under "Settings / Control Pannel / Printers."HP email tech support tried to help and even wrote back once asking if earlier tips they had given had worked. But I eventually just got fed up and decided to return the PSC 1510 to Amazon. At least the return to Amazon was quick and without hassle. UPS even came direct to my door to pick up the package at no charge.I was pleased with the results of the test scans I made. The no-PC color copying was also quick and of good quality. However, since I could not print, I decided to give this printer one star.I will now be trying a Lexmark, probably a X6150. From the specs at least, the X6150 sounds to be more system friendly, requiring only a P200 and 64 MB RAM for Windows 98.-----UPDATE: 12/10/05: After returning the HP and getting the Lexmark I found I still had the same installation problems. Only after doing a fresh install of Windows, rather than an upgrade, was I able to install the Lexmark printer. It is likely that doing the same fresh install would have allowed me to install this HP printer. It would be nice if the install programs for these printers told you exactly what was wrong or would even offer to fix the problem, instead of forcing you to reinstall your OS.I am happier with the Lexmark (X6150) though. The scans I was able to make on the HP (never could print) do not look as good as scans of same material made on the Lexmark at the same dpi setting. The HP-1510 was faster though at doing no-PC copying, even at the higher quality settings. Scan speed is about the same, the best I can reemember.
