I bought this item because it has great reviews. It was worth the extra dollars to buy something that would get the job done without deteriorating over time. The cheaper scoops would have pock marks on the plating and liquid would get into the rubber handles. This scoop does not have any of those issues and it produces a nice round scoop every time. The smaller scoops also provide an unnoticed portion control which is great.

Great ice cream scoop

Did some research and found this scoop. Compared to others, it isn't cheap. Based on use and durability, it is inexpensive.We bought this since we have tried many cheaper ice cream scoops. They end up breaking, bending, delaminating and more. This scoop will not bend or break as the others have. It works as advertised.

I love this ice cream scoop. It is a very small size--actually hard to find this size anywhere. I used this to fill miniature sugar cones with different ice creams. Worked beautifully. It has a wonderful feel and responds better than any other ice cream scoop I've used. It's heavy so it can better cut through hard homemade ice creams. The surface is textured and allow for the ice cream to come off easily. It does heat up fast with warm water. As a warning: if you use very hot water, the handle will be hot.

I've bought 3 or 4 of these and love them. but one suggestion for you Zeroll.would it kill you to imprint these things with raised lettering on the handle with this message. "Do not put in Dishwasher" "Hand wash only"I've seen the havoc caused by the dishwasher it oxidizes the aluminum. Makes for some pretty disgusting scoops of vanilla ice cream.If labeling the handle is impossible. At least make it more pronounced on the box.

You'll know what utensils are a waste of your time.These when taken care of ( hand washed ) they can last like my 3rd generation hand me down from the 1940's! I only bought a new one to have another scoop at another size.You wont be disappointed.

Good ice cream scoop.

I admit I was seduced but the idea of a quality ice cream scoop after two broken plastic scoops in one week. The idea of buying another piece of plastic that would go in a landfill just... no. I was looking for something durable. When I saw this scoop on Amazon, I remembered seeing this scoop at my local ice cream parlor. Now I know why, less effort, perfect results regardless of the hardness of the cream. Yes, I had to convinced my spouse that I did not overspend... now she enjoys the perfect scoops this make.

Really good grip and bite into even the coldest of ice creams. A bit on the expensive side but works like a charm.

Works very well, scoops ice cream into nice round scoops and releases them easily without a mess. Not being dishwasher safe is perhaps a slight con but it's hardly a lot of work to wash an ice cream scoop anyway.One thing to keep in mind is the size though, the 1oz scoop is pretty small, I've ordered a larger scoop to supplement.

The anodizing is very thin at the edge of the scoop, practically non-existant. Size 24 is smaller than it looked, would have ordered one size larger.
