It Actually will Solder Aluminum
Was a bit surprised at how well it would flow on to aluminum. The flux is pretty strong. be sure to wash it off.

It Really Works!
I needed to repair my LIFEPO4 battery packs from China. They are "Pouch Cells" that have aluminum tabs. I have several battery packs with the same amount of use on them. I was able to use the good cells from one pack to repair the other two. I tried to solder them but Regular Rosin-Core solder would not work, it would just ball up and not adhere properly. This stuff works perfectly. The solder flows as you would expect and allows for good electrical contact.

This stuff really works!
This is a genuine SOLDER, not a brazing rod. I don't know what's in the flux, but it contains NO LEAD and it really does bond to aluminum. I ran this bead in the photo, then let it cool and tried to scrape the bead off with pliers. It wasn't going anywhere. About the worst I can say is that you'll need a pencil torch, because even a 60-watt soldering iron won't generate enough contact-point heat to overcome aluminum's heat dissipation.

Works great
Before I give just one star but now testing with a really great solder station and setting to 480 centigrade works fine that’s why now I’m giving five stars to this product, if you want a good results you have to scratch the surface for get a great results.

Does not work well
This solder does not work well. Even if you get the solder to wet the surface, it will still snap lose taking a thin layer of the aluminum with it. I think the biggest problem is the flux though. It is very hard to get the solder to wet the surface and it prefers to bead up instead of forming a good bond with the aluminum.

Great value
Works very well on thin material. Not recommended for thick material.
