Warne Scope Mounts Matte Two Piece Win Model 70 Bases It is difficult to find mount / ring sets that have any advantage over Warne mounts. These fit a custom Win 70, they are easy to shim for tactical rifles that require additional elevation whereas that is nearly impossible for many mount designs. Rifle shoots to 1/4 MOA with these mounts, and removing / replacing scopes w/ QD picatinny mounts returns them to zero within the accuracy that I can measure. What else is required? Nothing! From my point of view they are perfect, and I'll be using nothing but Warne mounts and rings going forward on all rifles I use or setup for others.

They are nice. Didn't fit my pre64 exactly the way I wanted because one end hung over the bolt to far and I didn't like the look. No problem though, just cut it off polished, and reblued it. Looks good now.

These are very nice scope mounts. Well made, perfect fit on my pre-64 Winchester Model 70. I paired them with Warne scope mounts and couldn't be happier. For the price these are a great deal. I've had great luck with Warne products so far.

Screws were fine, but mountings didn’t fit my 1951 Model 70 30-06 heavy barrel target rifle even though the supporting info says it does. My rifle serial number is 220630.

Solid steel mounts provide stable base for scopes that can take the recoil of a 30-06 repeatedly without issues.

Good quality solid steel base. Nice matte finish. Matches up well with Burris Signature weaver rings. Very pleased, would purchase again.
