Utilized one to make a "tailgate open" dash warning light circuit. Appeared to be a heavy-duty switch that will last for years. Adjustable so it can be used for multiple applications.

This is a good switch for my use. Used as a hood pin switch for a hood light. The plastic portion of the switch can become brittle and break over time (multiple months) or if installed incorrectly but for the price and ease of installation I have no issue with replacing a broken one occasionally.

I used it as a switch for engine bay lights. Its design allows you to mount it virtually anywhere along the edge of the hood and adjust its height to ensure the hood press it. You have to make sure there is enough clearance underneath the mounting hole, so the switch moves freely without hitting anything. Also, make sure the wire has enough slack so it moves up and down without disconnecting (common sense thing, but you know, many lack that)

Bought this switch to replace a similar one that had broken. Using it in the bed/tailgate of my truck to turn on and off my truck bed lights when opening the tailgate. The plastic that is used in the pushrod part of the switch is pretty hard plastic so I would recommend cutting it with a saw and not clipping it with cutters/pliers. It’s crucial to trim it to the correct length because the switch can only travel a 1/4 inch or so before it bottoms out.

Used it to light up my engine bay when I pop my hood. Now I can work on my truck at night without lanterns and flashlights.Also, Cool glow shooting out of my grille now when I pop the hood lever. 😆

I used this to activate my hood light I installed on my 03 Silverado. Don't know why trucks don't come with a light under the hood, but this switch made it easy to install one.

Just what i needed to install a light under the hood of my 4runner - i tried a different kind before this and it was junk yet cost more - plus the two pack leaves me with a spare i might use it on my other car
