Loose fit
I have a set on my 986.2 and they fit great, but on my friends 986.1 they are a bit loose. Not sure if the difference in front bumpers is the issue or it’s a quality control problem but I’m going to pick up a set for my fathers 996.1 and see what happens.

Expensive for the quality: would still be so at $5!
Really (really) poor quality products. The cheap housing is — for lack of better description - “superglued” to the lens and it looks like it was done by a toddler on a sugar-high riding a mechanical bull!The fit itself is quite poor as well and both lenses protrude when installed — oddly in different places.Return after the wait is not an option as I need them running so spent the better part of a day dismantling, modifying, and rebuilding these to work.Go elsewhere.

Looks great
Looks and functions perfect. My siver-ish 2004 996 never looked better.Note that this is not OEM quality (with drain on bottom) but does a fine job. If you broke yours during install, you weren't doing it right.

Clips did not secure light fixture to body panel.

Love them.
Easy to replace, looks great. They do seem to be made cheaply...the back is a chrome color plastic but I love the installed look.
