Alpine North Women's Softshell Long Coat Shell Jacket

I bought this jacket for a spring trip to China where we were expecting temps in the 40s to 60s and rain. I LOVED it. It was the only jacket I took and I wore it all day, everyday. It was flattering and comfortable with awesome pockets. Oh, and I was about 25 weeks pregnant on the trip and it still zipped over my belly! I did size up to a small, I think I would normally wear an XS (I ordered both and tried them on) but the small gave me some extra room for my belly and layering (I’m 5’6” and 120 lbs not pregnant) and still was a flattering fit. It was a great weight (not too warm or cool), kept me dry in the rain, and warm during a windy morning on the Great Wall. I seriously loved the pockets SO much. They were a great size for fitting our passports and my phone. The zipper pocket was perfect for my AirPods and an extra pacifier for my son. I wanted to wear it even when it was warm enough not to because the pockets were so handy! The hood was a nice size. I seriously have no complaints. I’ll wear it all the time now that I’m home too!

I purchased this coat for my wife and she LOVES it! The fit is as expected, the material is soft, stretchable, and comfortable. The coat is wind resistant as well as water and snow repellent, making it perfect for winter wear.The attention to detail on this coat is outstanding; it has many functional pockets, removable hood, and both zipper and snap details. The coat has illuminating strips on the hood, shoulders, and sleeves for added night visibility.This was a superb purchase for my wife.

I bought this jacket in both a medium and a large the medium is far too tight and the large I’m swimming in it. The difference between the two sizes is astonishing. It’s Seems like a very nice jacket. Fairly disappointed that the large fits more like an extra large and the medium is just a bit on the small side

I’m just beginning to wear this out, as the weather has gotten colder.I bought this for three reasons: it is soft shell fabric, it has a zipper, snaps, and a placket, and I like the pockets.So far, it’s comfortable and seems to be warm enough. My negative thoughts are the snaps are difficult to snap and the coat is sleek enough that my gloves look like two lumps in the pockets when stored. It’s a bit snug, but it’s a great length and a good price.

I love this jacket. It is a soft shell jacket with a fused fleece lining. Jacket is lightweight, prefect for fall or spring. It is a quality jacket and truly deserves a 5 star rating. Great price too. Don’t order a size up.
