It is also a great offense because instead of teaching your players to runs set plays, you are teaching them how to play basketball.The catch with motion offense is that it can be hard to teach. Coach Huggins' book not only manages to cover the principles of motion offense, from simple to complex, but is a great manual on how to teach the offense. There are a lot of motion offense books that do a great job of explaining the offense, but are of little value in explaining how to teach the offense.Even if you want to run a 4-out-1-in motion and not the 5-out variation described, this is a great book.Kevin Sivils - author of  Game Strategies and Tactics for Basketball: Bench Coaching for Success

This book takes you through all the facets of the motion offense from a basic few to a more complex strategy. If you have the talent to use the motion offense this book will help you utilize their talent.

This is a great book,very well written and easy to understand. It moves from the simple to more complicated without one being overwhelmed.You can "get off" at any time you want according to your personel and the level or age group you are coaching.If you've got no big guys, this offense can stir up enough movement to keep a bigger team honest. There's a lot of options and information there, it's a matter of taking what you want.

This book is the best motion book that I have read. It gives you so much informaion that you have to read the book again to go through it all. The first time I read this book I was overwhelmed, but after further readings I figured out you cannot do all the options, you just need to pick out the ones that best suit your personel. Excellent book!
