Well Worth the Price
I was very pleasantly surprised by the smooth writing quality of this pen. I was even more surprised to find it has a piston slide converter instead of one of those problematic squeeze converters usually found on this type of pen. This is an attractive pen and looks great in a shirt pocket.

Works well but....
Fine writing instrument. But it is a medium nib not a fine nib as stated in their listing.

Cheap, Attractive and It Writes
Nice pen for the price. Fills with ink, writes a smooth, medium line.Obviously, this is a cheap piece of work. One squeeze of the aerometric filler and you can tell: the metal edges are rough compared to those on a Parker. The slip cap works fine, but the writing section seems just a little thicker than it should be. I expect the nib will fail with regular use. It's an inexpensive knockoff of some fine old Parker pens. But you know what? Parker doesn't make those pens anymore. It's all cartridges and converters these days. And the pens they do make (which are still terrific) cost enough to keep most people from buying them. So if you want the feel of the old-time pens -- simple writing instruments that you bought at the corner store and used until they fell apart -- here's your baby.

My hero
Exactly what I expected, the same Hero like those pens I used during in school. The nib is perfect, delivering a super smooth writing. The problem, not uncommon to these pens but easy to fix is the leaking nib cover. I knew how to fix it, in this case fastening was not enough, I had to put some glue inside to block the ink spill out from the metallic o-ring.

Very decent pen!
Picked up one of these Parker 51 knock-offs on a whim and was very surprised at how much I liked the nib. Mine writes a very smooth, wet medium line - not fine - and feels good, quite solid, and well balanced in the hand. It has a non-removable aerometric sac filling system which is stiff but works well enough. With these cheap Chinese pens, you never know for sure what you'll get, as the quality control may not be the greatest, but this pen certainly seems well worth the money and a convenient, pleasant pen for quick notes or carrying around. I like it better than any other Parker 51 imitation I've tried, and I've sampled a few.
