Stays on, is reusable, and really helps my skin! I had used the standard Mepitac before but I really like this thicker width.

Used this after open heart surgery and barely have a scar. Don't even try anything else. Adheres well and it works! (Keep incision covered--out of the sun--for at least six months.)

I bought this after having cancer surgery on my face. It is non irritating and has good results. Pros: value for money, effective, reusable. Cons: falls off if worn while sleeping, obvious on skin (like a bandage would be). It does smooth scars faster than silicone gel, but gel is clear if you don’t want it to show. I alternate between the two for that reason.

I have a skin disease and this is the best tape I have ever used. It does not destroy my skin as many other tapes do. The issue with this product is the way it is packaged. The box is not sealed and it looks as though the roll of tape has been sloppily placed in the box. Sometimes when I buy this product the role is facing one way, and then the next time I buy the product the roll is facing the other way. This and the fact that the box is not sealed, makes me worry about sanitation issues. Did someone with dirty hands placed the roll inside of the box? I think the manufacturer needs to work on the quality control.

I got a tummy tuck revision Nov. 2020 and I wish I knew about this product when I had my surgery. I’ve been using this tape for 2 months now (started Aug. 22, 2022) every day for 23 hours a day and 1 hour off when I workout. My scar has definitely flattened drastically ( I had a hypertrophic scar) my scar is so flat and soft now and the dark purple color has gotten close to my natural skin tone. I wish I could’ve taken a before and after. Consistency is key honestly. It sticks well and it stays on! Once I’m out the shower and dry the silicone sheet is the first thing that goes on before I put on any lotion to make sure it sticks and stays on for 23 hours. This is my 3rd purchase now. My method basically is: I take it off before I workout, I wash it with soap and warm water and let it dry for an hour since I’m away at the gym so once I’m back it’s dry and ready to be placed back on once I’m out the shower. I use the same strip for a week. I just repeat the same method I just mentioned above. I definitely feel confident being naked since my scar is flat and the color is not dark as before. I shared my results with 2 of my closest friends and they couldn’t believe the big difference this silicone sheet has done for me. They were shooked lol! I really thought there was no solution to my ugly scar until now. I couldn’t be happier. I will continue to use this product until I’m happy with the results I want even if it takes me up to 6 months to get every bit of purple off. I definitely recommend this product. I waited this long to write a review because I wanted to make sure this product works and wanted to give my most honest experience. Nothing happens overnight you just need to stay consistent and you’ll start seeing results.

This is a good product but it does not come in a roll. it comes folded together in a box. The silicone tape is a very thin tape. The adhesive will stay in place on dry skin but is more difficult to stick if a serum or scar cream is applied. The tape works great for cuts and to reduce skin discoloration. I found it a little difficult to wash the tape and reuse it as it loses its adhesiveness. I don't think you get a lot of product for the cost. The product is easily cut into whatever size strips needed. I am neutral about recommending this product. The plus about this product is its less expensive then name brand silicone strips however the strips that are more expensive are thicker.

This tape is strong, has a strong hold, yet it doesn't pull or tear the skin when removing it from the wound. I really like it.
