Welded parts don't line up---Cannot be used at all.
I ordered this--and then didn't get my engine project going for five years. Pulled it out of the box today and found the parts aren't welded right. The bolt holes are off by inches--and don't line up. One side is welded so it is lower and twisted. This thing is a complete mess and totally un-useable. Clearly quality control is non-existent. I would return it, but it's been years...

great item for storing motors easy to move around

Time waster
Not manufactured correctly to line up with motor mount holes. Dowel holes need to be drilled out as well. Plan on putting some time into it to make it fit

Not bad for the money, but needs modifications to work with SBF (351w)
The stand went together nicely, but it was too narrow for a 351w SBF. Holes for rear dowel pins had to be reamed out, and motor mount bolt holes do not line up well, and again, had to be reamed out. It was a tight fit, but I eventually got the stand bolted to the block. The cross member that came with the stand is too narrow, by about 1/2 inch, so I had to use thread all and make my own cross members. The bolts that came with the stand are all metric, so you will have to source standard threaded bolts (7/16 x 14 for application) in order for it to work.Rather than send it back, I chose to modify it to fit my application. Returns are a pain anywhere for anything, so it was just easier this way, plus I needed something that would work immediately. I hope this helps! ;-)

Ford small block engine dolly
Pretty decent piece but it does require a little work to use. A couple of the holes didn't exactly line up and the holes for the block dowel pins were too small. No big deal if you have a file or die grinder and bit. The wheels allow you to move your engine around easily. One more thing, the bolts supplied to bolt the frame together aren't up to the task IMHO. I used 5/16 nuts & bolts.

Casters don't roll well and the can't handle a load less than half of the stands rated wieght.
Casters had little nubs that i has to smooth out to get it to roll. Casters started to bend and bearing were falling out. The bracket that attaches to the motor mount needed to be notched in order to put the motor on it. Cheap, poor quality.

its not worth it would not do it again or would i refer it to no one else
did not come with the proper bolts. it also needed to be drilled out to mount to the motor to the stand as well as clearanced and still only one bolt hole lined up for the motor mounts.

Stand bolt holes did not line up well with the engine mounting.
The stand mounting holes did not lined up well with the Ford engine mounting. I had to loosen some of the stand bolts to manipulate the stand hole to line up with the engine. Not safe with several hundred pounds of engine already on a rolling stand! Word of Caution get some help to do this.
