When I get something like this, I really have one question: is it well-made? In other words -- is it reliable, is it going to last, or will I have to replace it?I mean, we're talking about a cigarette lighter adapter and a phone charging cable. There are hundreds of them out there. Plus most newer cars have USB chargers built in already...So why did I get this?Two words: FAST CHARGING.I have USB chargers in my car already, but they're not USB-C, and I have an iPhone XR that can handle fast charging via USB-C. I tend to forget to charge my phone overnight, and so when I get into my car, it's already pretty low. Having the opportunity to get some extra charging in while I drive is really helpful.First off, it works as advertised - plug the charger into the lighter socket, plug the USB-C end of the cable into the charger, plug in the iPhone, and it starts charging right away, and does seem to charge faster than my previous charger (I have not done any sort of scientific experiment with it,, but it does seem faster).Second - and here's something I didn't realize when I bought it - the charging cable is surprisingly nice. It's braided and seems like it will survive a lot of use & abuse. The Lightning plug on the end feels particularly well-made - seems both longer and wider/thicker than most Lightning plugs. The cable is plenty long enough, too - no need to keep the phone right by the cigarette lighter socket.The charger also comes with a standard USB port on it, so you could theoretically charge two devices off it. I haven't tested this, so I don't know whether doing so slows down any of the charging -- but again, most newer cars already have USB ports built in, so if this is a concern, you could just plug your 2nd device into those ports. Or, since the fast charger is... fast... you could probably charge devices separately/sequentially. (Of course, it's also possible that the charger can handle 2 devices fine without any slowdown in charging - I just can't vouch for this personally.)Overall, I'm very pleased with it. It feels solidly made and has worked flawlessly so far.

Bought this for an extra USB port on the car and a short lightning cable to avoid lots of cable sitting around in the car. Adapter has a Zusb And a mini connection option. Seems well made overall but the car adapter is always lit up when plugged in which uses car power if you just plan to leave it plugged in all the time. I find that to be a concern, and did not want to keep unplugging it all the time, prefer to ‘set it up and forget it’. Also the lightning cable is not USB, but a mini so in general you can’t use it without the adapter since most cars don’t have a mini connection.

With this car charger I had a good experience but did find some difficulty in plugging into the carport/cigarette lighter of my jeep. I believe this is due to my jeep's age and not the product's over all functionality. I have had the same problem with other devices so I would not hold it against the manufacturer.The charger did its job, the cord seems durable enough and I like the look and feel once I got it into place. There was no slipping or sliding and the whole thing stayed plugged in without disconnecting once, despite the long drive and sharp turns here and there. I would recommend.

Yes, there are hundreds of chargers available, but... get this one! Although I got this item at a discount, I would gladly have paid full price. This is my second Volport car charger (I also have one for my Huawei Honor 8 USB-C) and they work great! I really like that it lights up to let me know it's working and to find the plug easily, but it's not too bright. See photos. The cable that come with it is of very high quality, and they even have attached a hook and loop tie to keep the wiring organized. Overall I've been extremely happy and will definitely buy more in the future when needed!

I was going through these charges like crazy, like a couple a year. I would buy the cheap plastic ones and they would just fall apart. So when my last one broke I set out to find a solution. And then I found this charger. It is completely metal and extremely durable. Also, the cord is braided so it has extra durability so it won't fray from the connectors. Oh yeah and it charges my phone lightning-fast, at the beginning of the day I could have zero charge and going across town to run an errand and back, it is completely charged. I hope to keep this one for years to come.

Works well with my iPhone 12 Pro. It charges up pretty quickly and it hasn’t caused any issues. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I've had the charger for a couple days, really solidly constructed. Has a bit of a nice weight to it, not flimsy like the car charger I was replacing. Nice gray metal color, and the cord that comes with it seems high quality material as well, and I appreciate the incorporated cord-tie.
