Styrofoam melted onto the ball
I got 15# ball to practice ball throw. The Styrofoam that covers the top and the bottom of the ball has been melted onto the ball. Took awhile to clean the ball. Otherwise the product is good.

Great, stinks
Great slam ball for the price, make sure you open it, and leave it in a well ventilated area, and I mean WELL ventilated. Possibly maybe even outside for a couple days. I don’t know what they dye the leather with, but imagine the smell of the ink when you get a tattoo, multiply it by 3, then imagine it doesn’t go away for weeks and weeks, that’s the smell.

Well built and rugged.
My personal trainer recommended this as a good home use medicine ball/ slam ball. It is a great value for the price and quality. Highly recommend this for home use.

My husband got this to practice for his army fitness test. He is very happy with it.

Great exercise piece
This medicine ball has a very good grip and handles well. Some people like the brightly colored m-balls, but I like the decent good-old black one and feel more serious as I work on my PT moves. The ball came well wrapped and in good time. I use it daily and appreciate its quality.

size to weight is great.
size weight ratio is perfect for me. i might even keep the same size and go up to 15 pounds. I am 5'7". 200 pound male. I just cruise around the house throwing this "around". I was always one of those people that was always throwing a tennis ball or racquet ball around any way. This one just isnt great (at all) with throwing against walls. lol

On time, so far it holds well.
I like that it came right on time it was packaged well. Only thing I didn’t like it’s the leather “ cow smell it’s very strong, I still haven’t used it really but it seems like it would hold up well. I will put it to use and update my opinion. This is 9/21/20
