These work awesome!
You get five of these for 25 bucks which is great. They work awesome and you could stack them to get a lower overall temperature. They work perfectly

Buy the 5 pack because some will be broken.
I got 3 unbroken units out of the 5, (I only needed one) and the one i used worked perfectly to put my wine cooler back in working order. I had read other reviewers’ comments about receiving broken units and this is why i bought the 5 pack. The 5 star rating is because the product worked as expected. My cooler is a dual zone unit and I’ll keep the other good ones for future use.

Ice forming
The Thermoelectric Cooler Peltier Plate demonstrates effective cooling capabilities, leveraging the Peltier effect to maintain low temperatures. I like Its compact design because it makes it suitable for diverse cooling applications, especially in small confined locations. Overall, a dependable choice for cooling needs with the added advantage of the Peltier plate technology.

To much Heat !
These devices generate too much heat and very little cooling. As a result, they consume way too much power in the form of Amps required to function. The lower amp rated devices (2,3,4amp) generate much more cooling as compared to heat generated. Resulting in lower efficiency overall. Next time I would go back to the lower Amp. rated devices.

worked great for the application we are prototyping

Disappointing
I had wanted to experiment with these devices. The price seemed reasonable. However, when I received them, I learned that they required heatsinks or they would burn out. Had I known this beforehand, I would not have ordered them; or else, I'd have ordered the heatsinks as well.Adding to the confusion, these devices themselves are referred to as "heatsinks" in the ad. It seems strange that I would need to buy heatsinks for my heatsinks, but there you are.I would not recommend.
