Sizzix Framelits Die Set 6/PK - Hearts

Needed some hearts for valentine cards and this die was the answer. Any size I might have needed was included.

It's great. I place a self-healing cutting mat, then the die, and then the cutting pad. Also, good Angel Policy.

This is a cute die set. I love how little room the framelits take up in storage. My one star deduction is that the scale of this set is pretty large. Since I use all of my crafting projects pretty much exclusively for making cards, I wish the whole thing was on a smaller scale. The large heart is VERY large, and the smallest heart is still pretty big when it comes to smaller cards. That being said, I've done some really cute projects with the 3 smaller dies in this set.

I really like the variety of sizes that come in this set. I have used them with my Sizzix BigShot for cardmaking and for crafts with the kids. The shape works for both Valentine's Day and put four together to make a shamrock for St Patrick's Day too. My kids and I have had a lot of fun making crafts with these shapes. The dies have cut cleanly on each type of paper I have used them on. I want to try them on some fabric too for making appliques, but I haven't gotten around to that.

I mostly make cards and thought these would come in handy around Valentine's Day. I'm finding they are great for scrapbooking too. I love that you can cut 2 at the same time to make a frame....you can cut 2 different sizes to use for layering/matting....and tons of other cool ideas that would take too much time to share. Just use your imagination. I love the 6 different sizes....from tiny to huge. I have already ordered other Framelit set because they are amazing.For all you Cuttlebug users (I am one too)....these work perfectly with the Cuttlebug. Just use a B plate, a C plate, and of course the base A plate.

I was so surprised by the variety of sizes of these hearts, especially the larger ones. I just never expected them to be so big! I now have about 6 different Sizzix products and these cut perfectly and clean. Shipping was fast and packaged approprietly for the size of items ordered. I understand the need for the clamshell package of any dies, but it can be a bit difficult getting the item out of the package. Once out, I use a 3 ring binder and heavy page dividers with wide magnetic strips attached to store my dies. This keeps them all together and free of damage. I'd order more Sizzix products in a heartbeat!

Although this is a thin die, it can cut through quite a lot. Anything from tissue paper to vinyl, felt, glitter card and very heavy cardboard. I even managed to cut through some thin mylar, but that took four passes as the curved section did not cut through at first. Great product at very reasonable price.

Good quality. Just wish the heart had a little better shape. In my opinion, it needs to dip down more in the middle.
