SUPER bright; use as spotlight or beam
These GearLight Tac LED lights are more than twice as bright as our older led lights that we've had for several years. Our old ones were great and have worked flawlessly, and of course the tech is better now, but these GearLight Tac lights are incredibly bright. You can change the focus from spot light to a more narrow beam by pulling the front part of the light out or in (actually had to read the directions to figure that one out). I've only had them a short while, so I can't say about how they will hold up, but they are super bright and well worth the money. I like the desert tan look and the clip that can attach to a backpack or whatever. They feel sturdy as well.

Awsome light!!!!
Awsome!!!! First they are well packaged they come with tubes you can use t=for a AA batery instead of AAA. I would recomend bying the 18650 rechargeable and charger. Makes the light brighter and last longer. The flashlight has a spotlight and floodlight to change just pull the top of flashlight out for spotlight and back for floodlight. Bought the 2 pk nice deal.

Good value, recommend
This was the second pair I've purchased. I use them often, and they are dependable. After a year, I decided to buy two more so I can have them handy in places I use them.

Affordable and also fit 21700. Solid construction.
Cheap. Functional. We'll see if they're robust.I do a lot of elevated work inside massive machines. I'm forever dropping flashlights or they walk off somewhere. I bought these because they were affordable. We'll see how well they hold up to being dropped.Bonus: Most devices that have an 18650 "tube" will also take 21700 so this does not disappoint. I harvest good cells out of "dead" tool batteries so I essentially have limitless batteries. 21700 last so much longer. These things are decently bright. Bright enough for my workI don't know how the head comes off so I can't tell you how secure the led cob is. Seems to be relatively waterproof. Body body is considerably thicker than I expected especially the endcap. Problem I have with the Milwaukee flashlights is they're too thin and one drop makes them go out of round then you can't get the battery cap off. This endcap is THICK, almost 3mm where the threads are and then it only gets thicker.Honestly for the price, you could buy them almost as disposables (decent molicel 18650 or 21700 are cheap as can be from the right places). My one complaint would be no low power setting. Sometimes it's nice to not have to pop in a new battery every 30-40 minutes (I have not tested run time on a decent 21700)Size is good. Good hand fit. Not too difficult to hold in your mouth for those upside down, three handed jobs in the dark. Might want to get a silicone ring though.Only other serious issue would be the clip. The ring on most pocket clips is usually 3/4 of a circle. This is barely half. The clip itself is super stiff so trying to clip to anything thicker than a shirt pocket ends up popping the whole clip off. BUT! Comes with a lanyard fitting AND a lanyard so you can always D-ring clip it instead.

size and comfort holding the flashlight
I love the size of the flashlights. I love more, how comfortable they are to hold. The bigger flashlights are weighty and cumbersome. These are perfect. I just received them so I can only rate what I have mentioned. So far, they light well, easy and pleasant to hold ... I am glad I purchased them. Kept one for the house, and one for work. Some evenings I leave work later and at 83 years young, I need to make sure that where I walk is safe for me. I'm a happy gal!

Great little lights
These are great little flashlights. I like the fact that they're single functions, so you don't have to worry about additional issues with them. They come equipped with a holder for 3 AAA batteries but they will also take the 18650 batteries. This is what I like to use in them because of extra brightness. They even came with sleeves to account for the difference in size between the 18650's and the AAA holder. I didn't even know they made sleeves for that. I keep one in each of the pickup doors so that we have them readily available if we need them. Another thing is that they're very bright and you can focus the beam to either a floodlight or to a spotlight. Like most of these flashlights, the spotlight forms into a square once you get down to the smallest coverage. So far I can highly recommend these flashlights.

GL-LTFTAC1-2P mini-flashlight
I have bought four of these Gearlight 5" mini-flashlights (2 pkgs) in the past nine months and have been very pleased. When the endcap switch failed on one, their support team promptly sent a replacement under their warranty program. I've bought similar models from Coast and Luxpro over the past 15 years, but most manufacturers now add brightness and strobe features that are basically a useless annoyance. Those models have a tiny circuit board that controls the extra functions, and the boards tend to fail. This Gearlight is one of the few models that uses a basic, "no frills" on/off switch, which should greatly extend their durability and dependability. SIMPLER IS BETTER.
