I wasn't sure it was going to work. I had to place a converter on my husband's headphones to go from analog to digital. Then I needed a splitter to accept both the head phones and the surround sound speaker. The quality of the cables are not great, but for the price and the fact that they work, it's acceptable. I use my more heavy duty cable to go from the device to the TV. It has been about a month and everything is working normally.

Bought 2 of these to use on my television so I could use the sound bar separately from a hearing augmentative device for the hearing impaired. Works perfectly, and allows the volume to be set separately.

Worked flawlessly and perfect for my application. Had everything I needed in the box and was small and discreet. I have a soundbar that I use 90% of the time but also a nice home theater. Rather than using my home theater to switch inputs and sound sources I wanted to use the optical output on my TV as the switch but this meant i needed to send that signal to two places.. worked perfectly.

Amazing, cheap product. I'm using it to split the SPDIF/TOSLink fiber audio out of my Roku TV to both an Avantree bluetooth transmitter (so I can listen to my TV on bluetooth headphones) and simultaneously send optical audio to my Sony AV receiver connected to my surround sound speakers. Works great! No complaints. I plugged the micro USB cable into my TV's USB port for power. Comes on when I turn on my TV.

If your audio source does not have a PCM output option then this is not for you. My 10 year old Panasonic plasma does not so it did not work for me. I tried to create a neutral review because i can not judge the Toslink outside my limited experience

TV only had one optical outlet. Was getting tired of switching cables from the sound bar to the Bluetooth transmitter. This splitter solved my issues. No more cable swapping. Now I just turn on the device I need or operate both at the same time time. Love it!! Works great.

worked once but now the power does not come on even when I try a different power cord.
