Associated Equipment 6010B 6/12V 70/60 Amp Portable Charger

Heavy which is good, wooks good so far. Build good hope it hoods out.

Just took it out of the box poorly packaged. Broken knobs. Also I did not need the 24 volt charger. But that’s what they sent. Vary heavy I’d like to know the weight difference now of the 6v and 12v version.

CHARGER WOULD NOT WORK OUT OF THE BOX BLEW BREAKER WHEN PLUGED IN AND TURNED ON 12 VOLT LOW SETTING

Great heavy duty charger, similar in performance to the larger wheel types, its still heavy, but portable. Weather proof, with high quality components.

Super great piece of equipment. Have used this style/brand off and on for 40 years. Simple and to the point. Like it allot better than the ones on wheels. This one is small enough to throw on a shelf. Don't let the size fool you. This is a heavily bit charge that does the job. Like it much more than the wheeled larger chargers. ..less electronics go bad.

I have used similar associated 6010 and 6010A models for years in an auto dealership as an employee. My past experience with these chargers is that they are bulletproof for the harsh environment that shop equipment gets. Unfortunately, it looks like quality at Associated has changed. I purchased this 6010B for my own garage at home but had several issues. The first order on Amazon (vendor: National Tool Warehouse) came in and the charger did not charge and the led lights on the cables did not work. National Warehouse sent a replacement in which now the fan on that one did not work, the led lights were inoperative and the bottom knob was broken. National Tool gave me a full refund when the second charger was shipped back. I then ordered a Schumacher RSC-2030T and that works great and appears to be well built.

This is reliable charger for the biggest jobs with a high booster to start large equipment yet small enough to charge your motorcycle!

The meter on the charger does not function properly and two others sent back had damaged cases and parts laying in the shipping box.
