Easy to install in Windows 10, and fast as can be
I'm using this with a GA-H170N-WIFI mini-ITX motherboard in an NCASE M1. Installation was easy and flawless into the M.2 slot underneath the motherboard. The drive does not come with an M.2 screw, but the motherboard included one. I set up the system with this as the boot drive. BIOS recognized the drive on the first boot using default settings, with no issues. Installing Windows 7 required an additional driver disk, but upgrading to Windows 10 and then doing a clean install didn't (Win 10 has the NVMe driver built in). Otherwise, no tricks or gimmicks were required to get the drive up and running as my boot drive. Other comments:SPEED: Blazing fast, as advertised. Windows boots almost instantly and file transfers are smooth as can be.HEAT: Some have commented on M.2 drives throttling at high temps, and some people have even installed small aftermarket heatsinks. The NCASE M1 has venting on all sides, including the side that faces the underside of the motherboard where the M.2 slot is. This allowed me to access the drive during use and it never felt excessively hot to me. I imagine the venting helps with this quite a bit.

Fast, Fast, Fast!
Replaced a Mushkin Chronos Deluxe with this drive. Installed in M.2_A slot on a Gigabyte Z120X Gaming 3 board. Simply unscrewed the hold-down screw from the board with a small Phillips, inserted the drive into socket at a 45 degree angle, held down the end and replaced screw. I used Aomei Pro software to clone the Mushkin onto the NVMe drive. Shut down, removed power, removed Mushkin. Powered up and it booted from the new drive. Total replacement time was less than 1 hour. The NVMe drive is about 4 times faster than the Sata3 based Chronos. Windows 10 Pro boots noticeably faster, programs load faster, and Explorer lists appear instantly. Highly recommend this NVMe drive.

Only gripe would be that the pcb is green and it doesn't match my motherboard which has a sweet black color
I was a bit nervous of the M.2 integration with my ASUS Maximus VIII Hero Alpha Motherboard but it went very smooth. Drive is fast small and requires no cables which makes it very clean. Only gripe would be that the pcb is green and it doesn't match my motherboard which has a sweet black color. This drive is rated really well and I have had Intell SSD's before which were great. To be honest there is a speed difference but definitely not as much as I saw when I switched from a platter HDD to an SSD.GREAT DRIVE, great price and easy install.

Fast as lightning
Great drive and very fast. I bought one to match the one my laptop came with so I could use them in Raid 0. See pics for speed. It was also $20 more when I bought it a week ago. Figures.

I did not call for the replacement because I don't like the shipping time both way and I needed it ...
I suspect they sent me a used one.It had a lot of files/programs with working Windows 10 in it. It booted by itself before I do anything.Of course I reformat it and reinstalled Windows 10 with my media creation files I prepared from my previous Windows 10.I did not call for the replacement because I don't like the shipping time both way and I needed it asap.Buyers be careful. You must disconnect all of your devices except this one before you activate this one because who know it has any malware in it.This works very good and very fast though.

Installed this guy (SM951) after failing to SM950 (retail version) ...
Installed this guy (SM951) after failing to SM950 (retail version) to work on my HP zbook studio workstation. Clearly, there is a compatibility issue with SM950.No issue with this guy so far. Fast and reliable. If you have HP zbook studio, buy this model and save yourself 3 hours of agony that leads to nowhere.

Do reaserch before buying it.
Official website won't have driver. If you have Z170 chipset, you may hit lots of problems. Heats up a lot, so it may need heatsink. Do your research before buying it. Good luck.

Easy to fit, works fine.
I bought a new Asus mobo and 6700k and saw the slot on the mobo for this type of drive and bought this one. This clipped in and works perfectly. No instructions but you can see YT videos showing how to fit them. You need a nut and screw type thing to hold it to the mobo and these should have been supplied with the mobo so check the box and hope you didn't throw it away! They don't come supplied with the drive.I see no point paying more for the version in the retail packaging.

Samsung SM951 nvme
Great bit of hardware. Runs well with windows7. As someone mentioned in reviews Samsung Magician do not recognizes it. I wonder why, when it is made by Samsung. Anyway Samsung magician is bad. There are better software for SSDs without hardware locks, freezes and other non senses.
