Makes 1 bar of LTE usable for zoom calls. Mostly.
This is a great product. I have now had it for three years, but I used it most in the first year because I was a virtual teacher during the pandemic and spent the year road tripping the national parks. I used it all the time on a Subaru Impreza and then in a Ford Econoline van. If there is no signal at all, this thing can’t work miracles. If there is a good signal, this thing doesn’t make a big difference. It shines when there is a weak signal that it can amplify into a good enough signal that would otherwise be unusable. That is more than worth the cost when you’re trying to teach science class from the middle of the woods.

Easy setup and noticed boost right away
Tested this in a few different road test. Also tested on my drive to work. Before this booster, no suck thing as a teams meeting on the drive in. With the booster, listen to multiple team meetings on hour drive though Valleys and did not drop the call at all. Had a few times for bandwith, but keep connected. Wish it was cheaper or I would of upgraded to the newer version already. This verion they say 35% which seems right. The newer version is 75%. Be interesting in testing them for some trips we know we drop cell and see if there is a huge improvement between this one and the newer version.

Great product!!!
This device is awesome! I got this device for work, and play. I do tree work in a mountainous remote areas That have little (1 bar regular service) to no service. This little booster allows me to make calls and text and send pictures from area’s I wasn’t able to even get calls out before. It’s great for both emergency contact and normal work. It takes 1x service and can boost it to 2 bars lte. The service can be a little laggy but compared to what I was dealing with before it’s awesome. During high traffic times it gives just enough boost to be able to by pass and maintain speed on the network. This product has saved me time, money, and stress.I’d give it 5 stars but in my mind a product has to go above and beyond for that.Publishers edit: My wife uses it for her phone hotspot, and was able to conduct video meeting across Wyoming and Montana. In addition she says it gives her confidence knowing I have it when I’m in remote places.

Does not seem to work for newer phones.
Although my cell phone is over a year old, the app said there was no update for my phone. It was a waste of time and money. Set up was easy however, make sure to check their app with your phone before purchasing.

It's performance, not bars that matters
I have very mixed feelings about this product. In my work, I move around a LOT. Some areas are notoriously spotty, to the point where I lose signal badly and lose data connection. (I use my phone for data 100x more for data than for voice) If I lose data connection, I lose business. In some areas, I get great signals, and the MIMO antenna in my phone gives me great performance. A few blocks away, and I get nothing. I bought this to help with those areas. The problem is that it destroys my performance where it was good, with its single antenna without helping the data loss in other areas enough.Where I am hoping it will be of help is when I go and stay in an area. At that time, if the signal is weak and the performance is lacking, I will fire this up and hopefully improve things. Until then, it is of limited value.

Makes a difference
Make sure to get your placement right. Once you do this booster works. Don’t forget to hit the switch if your outlets stay on all the time as it will kill a battery if your not in your car for a few days.

So far not impressed.
I bought this a few weeks back to put on my '16 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I've mounted it to the spare tire housing in the back with the second extension bar attached to the whip spring. The unit is then cabled to the roll bar and the inside proximity antenna has been both on the roll bar and just below the rear view mirror. There is nothing in the instructions that I could find on any additional grounding this thing may need past the cigarette lighter. When I've had it on in the city in places where there are normal dead zones I see no improvement in the 1 bar. I know that isn't how wireless is measured but for all intents and purposes with this, each bar means a stronger signal. So 1 bar sucks.I've taken this through most of North and Central Texas and have seen it only work once and that MAY be a fluke. I'd be more than happy to talk to the manufacturer to see if maybe something went wrong in the installation.. but until then I can't give this more than a 2 star.
