I live in a place with Horsehair plaster, so finding stud is always a challenge.This box worked well, held on tight, and did not crack the plaster.I’d buy it again.

They give you a cardboard template to make the proper sized hole in the wall. Easy to install. Side “wings” work great to secure fixture inside wall. Very satisfied with this product.

Perfect Install
Just what I needed for a remodel box since I was installing a new receptacle in a kitchen Island. Comes with a template. It snugs up tight against the inside without needing a stud.

did the job, seems durable. i did not need the steel wings - but that is a great option for an existing wall

cant reallt tighten it too much, the rear plate might damage the edge of the cutout.
