This is very comfortable under my desk for my feet now that I work from home more often.

Soft but when put pressure on it sinks in.

So many people are working from home for the past few 1 1/2 years due to pandemic. As a front line health care worker, my hospital has maintained a schedule of 3 days on/12 Hours off (and repeat) for 4 weeks, and then exchange with peer to work from home for 1 week to catch up on pt. records, clinical notes etc. from home. After so MANY hours/weeks/months on my feet, then switching to desk work, I was HOPING for death sometimes due to extreme back, leg, and foot pain! One evening while browsing on Amazon, I found this. This has INCREDIBLE potential! Right idea, but not enough. For example: 1, this really, REALLY needs to be firmer - and as it tends to flatten out after a short period of 15 - 20 minutes of use (maybe an insert of some sort which can be used when desired?). 2) there are also times when I would like it to be a little higher, depending on the soreness of my calf muscles. Finally, 3) a way to attach it (maybe elastic bands - NOT rubber) to the leg of the desk as my "work from home" desk is exactly like a COW i(computer on wheels) as we use at the hospital and what a pita it is to have to carry this sepearely when my hands are already full! I wanted (needed) this to work so badly! Just need to find a different one I guess to suit my needs.

If you are like me - ahem - vertically challenged shall we say - and your feet don't reach the floor in normal office chairs, this is the product for you. I have two of these now, one for my home office and one for my other office. It is a nice size (and can be adjusted with the way this is made) and keeps me from trying to sit on my feet which always causes one to fall asleep. HIGHLY recommend for anyone who struggles (as I do) with reaching the floor in a work chair. This could probably work with other chair types as well, but is a great way to make me sit correctly (with good posture) while working.

This foot rest is well constructed. Love that you can remove the covers to wash them. Also love that it has two sections so that you can adjust the height. Recommend.

Two years later, and I still love this so I’m reviewing it! My friend just came over and used my desk and asked me what foot rest I had because she loved it so much!

I put this under my desk at work, and wow does it make a difference that I didn't expect. I used to find that I couldn't "get comfortable" and would shift around a lot while sitting at work. Now that I have this higher foot rest that is so soft and comfortable, it's made a big difference. Since I work alone, it's perfect for bare feet and very soft. I'm also slightly on the shorter side (5"4"), so it helps there too so I rest my feet at a comfortable height. My only complaint is that it seems a bit pricey for what ultimately amounts to a cushion.

The cover material seems decent - soft and comfortable on the bare feet, but debatable whether the foam should be labeled premium quality. The foam is very light, and it has no traction on the floor - so if you have smooth flooring like hardwood, engineered wood, tile or other synthetic material, including some low-pile carpets, it might be difficult to keep it in place unless you rest your feet directly on top and pushing down directly onto the cushion. I have low-pile carpet that's relatively smooth, so whenever I shift position on my office chair, my feet would push the cushion away, and finding myself having to reposition it properly again and again. I'm looking to glue or sew some friction strip to make it adhere to the carpet better.Another issue is that velcro patches are used to adhere the top part and the bottom height-extension part; these strips are quite mediocre from the look & feel of them. After putting the covers into washer/dryer, the velcro doesn't hold firmly anymore. Maybe it's because I accidentally set dryer to high heat...The one good thing is that even though the foam is light weight, it does seem to provide relatively firm support for my feet - I'm about 145lbs, so the amount of weight I put on it in sitting position is not too heavy. Ergonomically, I like the arched half-pipe shape - it provides a wide range of support depending on my sitting position. For now, I'm willing to use it and see how it holds up over time.

at first, it didn't look like what was shown in the ad. but after a few when you take it ot of the package, it will eventually turn into it as the package squeezed the product making it smaller they what it was suppose to look like. i took a measuring tape and dimensions are correct. works great under my desk. feels very comfortable on my feet during long work/gaming sessions.
