Why would it cost soo much - i found out
I did some research on this Video card because i could not comprehend its price (maybe you can) of nearly 2k USD (you can build a entire PC from scratch with that money and it would be a really blazing good one ) so WHY would you buy this? Here's what I foundThis is Designed for University Grade , Movie Studio grade , Game Studio Grade , People who are already established and need reliability and performance due to the fact there rig is mostly likely to be on ALL THE TIME, as in they do shifts where 1 group of people will work on a project using a computer or Computers and then will be replaced later on in the day by another group thus having a continuous workload on the computer, now this is where reliability kicks in - the parts in this graphics card are "Cherry picked" as in ONLY THE BEST Materials make it into the card making it WAR tuff to be used all day every day in hard core content making workloadnow the performance - this card has been designed with some software’s in mind like "Autodesk - Maya" where the software is capable of using the entire graphics card to its fullest to make your workflow move with easethese are the 2 main reason i foundNOW for a normal content maker/Freelancer - would you have to buy this or need this to make Good quality movies (hd or 4k) ?the answer is NO -you should be looking at the GeForce line from Nvidia where they have counterparts with the same specs (for this card you look for the GeForceGeForce 980 Ti 6gb DDR5 – costs less than half of this card ) don't expect since this card cost 5 times the price of a high end GeForce you are going to get 5 times the performance, sadly technology does not work like that - in fact the even less expensive "GeForce 980 gtx ti" has really similar benchmarking results to its bigger brother the titan x so i would say that's where the money to performance is at right now (albeit that the GeForce GPUs are aimed at games and gamers but they will also render videos and edit photos and create 3d objects with an ease - it's not like the card has a mind of its own and is not going to render your videos because it only "likes" games)so again why is this card sooo much? Because Nvidia knows its clients (whom this is intended for) have the money and are willing to pay for this.Remember movies have schedules, project designers have deadlines, and game studios need to finish on TIME FOR THE XMAS RELEASE!!!How are they going to do it? With a CARD LIKE THIS ONEHope you learned something, have a Great Day

OVERPRICED GARBAGE....PERIOD
My business has several PCs with this card and it under performs, under produces and lacks the lacks the ability of cards 5X less in pricw with the same main specifications with memory, clock speed, and bit rate. Intel can always count on enough uneducated consumers to pay outeagous prices for their garbage. As yourself...would you pay the price of a Ferrari for a Mustang or Corvette?
