These cocktails are very involved and very sophisticated, but they all sounds delicious and the instructions are very clear. Can't wait to try!

Love the drinks in this book. Its nice to have a couple different large batches for groups and this makes it easy.

This is a beautiful book! I want to make EVERYTHING in it, but I can't get at least one ingredient from every recipe. . In Ohio, the liquor stores carry alcohols used by the bars in the area---not much of a choice here in my small town. And it is not legal to get liquor by mail--only beer and wine. I need to travel over 60 miles to find some of these ingredients and we are under a stay-at-home order during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Disappointed

I've received so many raving reviews of my batched cocktail game due to this book. This current version is a reprint of my beloved blue-covered copy, which sadly was destroyed due to one-too-many Cumin Palomas (page 84). This version is smaller and much easier to take with on extended trips - I'm so happy this is back in print in the US, because I could get a replacement!All of the recipes in this book are designed to pre-batch and enjoy at picnics, parties, or at home, so once the initial prepwork is done it's just take-and-go - one less thing to worry about on the day of. The recipes themselves are out of the ordinary (the Cumin Paloma I mentioned, their wonderfully delicious, fruit-forward take on the Boilermaker, and their non-alcoholic "wine" that tastes very close to the real thing, etc), and offer interesting new takes on existing cocktails. I almost don't want to tell people about this book, because it's one of the things that has upped my cocktail game, and I don't want everyone to know my secrets!The only true failing of Batched and Bottled Cocktails is some of the more exotic ingredients can be hard to source and there are no suggestions for substitutions (palm wine, food-grade bergamot oil, etc), but many of these can be omitted altogether or substituted with more common ingredients (orange extract, port, chamomile flowers/tea, etc); substitutions are made readily in the kitchen when I cook anyway (milk+ lemon juice to sub for buttermilk, anyone?), and shouldn't be a barrier to buying this book. Using the Palm Milk Punch recipe as an example, they're generally made with cognac, various citrus, etc, so it's very amenable to base spirit substitutions.One last word of warning - make enough of these cocktails and your friends will start looking to you to provide the drinks for your next outdoor gathering. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Too artisanal for my liking. Thought it would be more simple big batch cocktails to make. Some of these ingredients seem hard to come by.

We bought this book after having one of the best drinks of my entire life! We went to Three Sheets in London and I had the Shiso Miso. It was incredible, so I bought the book and we came home.My first try was decent, I'm not used the correct Miso and the directions were just vague enough that I may not have cooked the miso long enough? But it turned out pretty good.I'll be making a second batch over the holidays. Excited to fine tune this recipe.That said, we have made a few of the other drinks and they all came out great! It is a great way to have some cool cocktails at a party, but not have to spend the day making drinks!

Great book with recipes from the award winning bar owned by the authors and many more. Makes a great item for the bookshelf, to plan a party or to gift to someone.

Love this. Beautifully put together and makes awesome drinks accessible. A great bar, by great guys... well worth checking out!!
