Very cheaply made. Stone looks like plastic and was all scratched. The dye used on the cover bled through to the paper inside and made the first three pages unuseable.

The item I rec'd was not the item I purchased from this seller. I ordered a journal that was supposed to be 8.5 x 6.5 with 200 pages. The item I got was 7 x 5.5 with 120 pages and is quite small in stature to what I was expecting and cheap leather by-product. This was to be a birthday gift for my wife and now I'm screwed! I want a full refund!!!

This was a real disappointment! The book measured only 5" X 7", instead of the 6.5" X 8.5" stated in the description. Also, there were not 200 pages! Not even close! If you look at the view of the bottom of the journal shown on line, you see five sets of pages. Each pack should have 10 papers folded in half to make a pack of 20 (40 pages counting both sides of each page). The journal that I received had 5 packets; however, two contained 28 total pages, one contained 24 pages, one contained only 12 pages and the last contained 20 total pages! That's a grand total of 116 pages! The strip used for weaving around the edges is very worn on my journal. If it costs me anything to return this, I'll keep it. However, I hope this review prevents anyone else from being duped!

I received this product today and was quite disappointed for many reasons...1) The product description states that it should contain 200 pages. After reading the comments here, I checked. It has 120, far below the product description.2) Of the pages in this product, some are stained and others have holes in them3) The buckles on the cover have one broken rivet and one rivet that does not match the rest of the product in color or detail.This is not acceptable. It may be an inexpensive item, but at the very least it should hit some of the benchmarks. This fails on not just one but three different fronts.

Trying to figure this out.

This product had paint on the pages and the leather was tearing off right after I opened it!!!

I bought this for my son for Christmas and the lock broke! He just wrote in it for the first time last month and one of the locks snapped off! I was shocked cause I have a couple books of shadows and never had that happened to me where a metal lock snapped off.

The book is smaller than 8.5 inch by 6.5 inches. It is beautiful and I love it but it's. Smaller than a book.

Purchased as a present. Overall it's good quality. Bit disappointed by the stone. I thought it would be brighter but that's a minor point.Brought for someone who does a lot of drawing and writing. I think they will be pleased with it.Good amount of pages and the paper is thick, handmade I believe.

Only 3 stars. Just arrived and it is damaged Poor quality control. I'm not sending it back only because i will repair it my self. Stone looks terrible...

This book only had 108 pages counting both sides, which it became obvious that half the pages were missing. Very disappointing. Got a refund and postage money back.

Arrived yesterday in perfect condition. A little smaller than I was expecting, but nonetheless it will be useful. The leather is good quality and it's easy enough to carry around.

Bought this for. My 13 year old grandsons birthday. He loves it.
