- Plants for sale are Alocasia "New Guinea Gold" plants. Each plant I offer is Hybridized and grown from tissue cultures to be a disease free exact replica of the mother plant. Plants for sale are between 5-16" tall. Alocasia New Guinea Gold is a form of Macrorrhiza with dark green foliage and pinkish petioles. It seems that for no real reason the plant will turn almost completely yellow for a few months and then go back to a normal green in an odd cycle of variegation.
- It is this reason this plant has been misidentified and misunderstood for so many years. A great variegated plant with a very unique personality. Plants can grow 6 to 8 feet tall. Quite unique and very beautiful aroid. We recommend using only *Bio Spectrum organic fertilizer located in our store.
