Bought this to stand on a shelf in my potting shed. Looks lovely and stores the string nicely. Very pleased with it

I ordered this item because I think the tin is adorable, the contents, however, were disappointing because the twine is just to use in the garden not in the kitchen. It has a very strong smell and I certainly would not be tying my bouquet garni with jute. The tin is quite generous in size and so is the twine, but I guess I shall have to order appropriate kitchen twine. As I said, the container is adorable so I guess not all is lost.

Bought it for a friend for her birthday. I liked it and she was thrilled.

Really lovely tin, beautiful design and hold a ball of string which stops the string from tangling.

I'm using this in the kitchen for butcher's string. Lovely item (it has hens and gardening things on it, both of which I love)Perfect for a country kitchen but perhaps a little too nice (and expensive) to use in the garden. I don't think it would keep its good looks being used for gardening.

Perfect for stopping garden string getting in a tangle. Just pull out as much as you need.
