You get what you pay for. A world of difference from the old cheap plastic chair mats. This thing is awesome. Highly recommend.

I originally purchased a chair mat from a local office supply store. Needless to say, it did not work on my carpet, so I found this one at Amazon. I had heard about another one the radio, but felt like this one was just as good and I was right. It is perfect! It helps me move easily between my desk and printer and it doesn't sink into my thick carpet. I did have a problem receiving it, but Mike was wonder in trying to find out where it had been delivered by the carrier. Would buy again, but I don't think this one will wear out.

My mat arrived with undamaged box and contents. Watch out for the styrofoam packing though. It comes in sheets taped inside the box and also in sticks taped to a huge rubber ring around the glass perimeter. One or more are sure to break, and you'll be chasing those styro nuggets everywhere. It takes about an hour between opening the box and disposing the trash. Then maybe another hour to get used to the slick surface and having to stop the chair from zipping past where you intended.Note: the newer high-tech rollerblade casters with polyurethane wheels don't seem to work well on these glass mats. They glide well but lock up when they turn. I changed back to traditional casters and they work perfectly.

I hope this will last a very long time. So scared that it may crack and chip especially around the edge.. My husband really likes it. Ok, so far so good.

If you looking to class up your office space and add effortless chair movement, THIS is the product. Packaging was great, out of the box it was clean and ready to go. Well worth the price.

I bought several other types of mats, plastic/wood...ect, before finally settling on this one to use with my large office chair on carpet. I could not be happier with the purchase and would recommend others skip the hassle and simply look at an option such as this when shopping for a chair-mat.About this product specifically, the beveled edges are much nicer to have than anticipated and the greenish color of the lower cost option is way less pronounced than it looked it would be in the listing which was a plus.

I bought this for my office which has beautiful hardwood flooring. The glass is so sturdy and clear. It arrived packaged very well. My chair rolls like a feather on it but stays in place while I work. My floors don't get damaged and their beauty stays on display. The glass also stays cool to the touch (if you work barefooted as I do :)). My German Shepard likes to nap on it now and then.

When this arrived, I was hesitant to sign for the package as it looked like it had made several trips around the world on a pack mule. I was really impressed that the chair mat had suffered zero damage. That should attest to it's durability. Remarkable ! It is heavy but looks great on the Berber style carpet. The chair rolls effortlessly and smoothly. Being a clear glass mat it will easily go with any decor. Love it. Well worth the money.
