Really great tasting coffee at a much lower price than espresso pods

I used to buy only the Nespresso pods for several years while they were patent protected and there were no other options. These pods, at a third of the price, offer excellent taste and great value for the money!Since the expiration of the pods patent the market offered many alternatives. I have tried several options but didn’t like any, to be quite honest. Most were too watery. Not strong enough. Until I tried this brand. I love their capsules and their quality. And according to Amazon I have bought this product 17 times since.Not there there isn’t other quality coffee that comes in the original capsules. But none at this price range of 25 cent / capsule (Nespresso is around 70 cent / capsule).I absolutely recommend!

I would give this 3 1/2 stars if I could, but I am giving it four stars, because 3 is too low. I bought this because I have been enjoying the Lavazza aluminum capsules, and these have the same rating for a little bit cheaper of a price. After reading all of the reviews, I thought I would try them. I really enjoyed two of the three roasts, but the gusto Intenso tastes like burnt ashy coffee from Starbucks. It’s just not good. I will still drink it, because I hate throwing money away, but I will never buy these pods again, unless I can purchase the other two roasts individually.

The media could not be loaded.  I thought something was wrong with my machine, come to find out its the pods. After each use my drip tray would be full of water and hardly anything in my coffee mug. After many pods trying to figure out what's wrong with my machine I remembered I had Decaf pods from Gourmesso (I was out of my reg and thought I would try a new brand, hense ordering these) and it worked just fine!! Just like the brand Nesspresso the Gourmesso come to a higher point, creating a better contact for the coffee to be pulled. These do not and end up wasting away in the drip tray. The taste itself is not bad, but the design needs work otherwise you're just wasting your money.

I really wanted to like these, hoping for a quality alternative to expensive Nespresso brand capsules, but they don't fit right. When you lower the level so the Nespresso machine can puncture the capsule, it just smashes the whole thing sideways and makes a big mess. I have tried two separate boxes now and they all crush. I think the lower end of the capsule is just too narrow. The machine doesn't grab it properly. I have tried Starbucks and several other brands without any problems. I hope the company will revise their plastic shape so they fit right.

The one time I somehow got the machine to accept a pod without dropping straight through...the flavor is great. Have not managed to get another pod to work in machine again since.

Please note - this 5 star review comes from someone who has NEVER had the Nespresso branded capsules. So it's a bit hard for me to judge the taste. I'm just too cheap to pay top dollar for these things, and not picky enough in espresso to worry. Tastes fine by my count, and the price is superb!I have not had a single problem with these, and I'm on my second order, so I've gone through close to 100 already wince I'm buying them in the 60 count. This review is for the Dolce Aroma variety, I've also purchased and enjoyed the decaffeinated offering Gran Caffe has. Every capsule brews properly and consistently, I've had no problems with my (knockoff brand) Nespresso puncturing them, and they seem to come out with a perfectly fine crema at the top. Again, I'm sure there's better espresso out there. Just not at the "push a button and use a 25 cent product" level. Highly recommended!

Gotta try it to like it. Not for my palette though. I prefer garibaldi gusto intenso.

I have tried 3 different Nespresso Compatible pods and these were my favorite. Would and will buy again.

Very good coffee

These pods are a slightly different shape on the bottom and continually jam, make a load bang and cause the machine to express water all over the counter. Most of them have gone into the trash. Im past the date for returning unfortunately. Will never buy them again.
