Great, easy to search book for kids
This is a wonderful resource for kids, but with enough info an adult would learn from it as well. It’s great they’re grouped by color, as kids aren’t going to necessarily know how to search by any other criteria. The pictures are close up and detailed, and the graphics showing where they nest, what types of feeders they prefer, etc. are very helpful. The only criticism I have is that it doesn’t include the Brown Thrasher, which is GA’s state bird. I realize it can’t include every bird, but it seems odd this wouldn’t be in a GA bird book.

Great Book for Both Children and Adults
My grandchildren are fascinated with watching birds in the backyard so I got this book for them. Then I realized what a great book it was and got another copy for myself.

Granddaughter Loves It!
Bought this for my granddaughter who had just turned 5. She loves to take her book and sit on the porch to watch the birds on the bird feeder.

Great starter book
This book- is great for kids/ adults to start with in Georgia it’s easy to read and learn. We still bought another cause it didn’t have a few we were still trying to identify but this is still one of our favorite bird books. The only thing that would’ve been nicer is if like other bird books - the birds were organized by type- wood peckers for example all together vs mixed with others.

Perfect Guide for Kids
I gave this well-illustrated book to a young girl I was spending time with for her to learn about birds and birding. I only looked at it briefly before giving to her to keep it nice. But it looked great! She loves it! For sure I would recommend this outstanding book to young bird enthusiasts interested in Georgia birds.
