Q: How do you clean it when it gets soiled with food? What about mold, which is especially likely when storing cheese? Retain food odors/flavors?

Mine did get moldy when I left some banana bread wrapped in it for too long. I cleaned it with lukewarm water and dish soap. To me, it's a problem that you can't see through the beeswax wraps. Out of sight, out of mind, esp when life gets hectic.

Q: About how long can these be reused for? How many times before they see the end of life?

Bee's Wrap lasts for up to a year with proper care and regular usage. For longer duration wash your Bee’s Wrap in cool water with a mild dish soap. (Avoid sources of heat, such as hot water and microwaves.) Air dry, fold and store in a drawer or in a basket on the counter. Thanks for asking. Santa & Rey

Q: Are these recyclable? How do you dispose of them when they're spent?

From their website: "Our products are reusable, biodegradable, and compostable. Q: how you store these when not in use?

So people use this wrap to avoid using plastic bags, but then store them in a plastic bag... HA! Oh, the irony.
