Fantastic and inexpensive suspension upgrade
Actual installation time was about two hours on a 2004 Ford F150 XL 4x4 V6 regular cab short bed. By the way this truck had already had a lowering kit installed which reduced ride height by about 4 to 5 inches. Needed to supplement rear load carrying capability to tow a camper with a GVWR of around 3000 lbs. This kit easily achieved that, but the surprising thing is that it improved the unloaded handling and ride of the truck dramatically. Anyone who knows the 1997 to 2004 (Heritiage) F150s have a nice stock ride but have the annoying rear axle oscillation over road irregularites (axle bounces up and down about 3 to 4 times after hitting a bump).. this kit eliminated 90% of that and also quite remarkably reduces body roll in turns and overall handling. Instructions are clear. Couldn't recommend this kit more.

Best value I could find anywhere. Instant improvement, and easy install!!!
The media could not be loaded. I installed this on my 1996 GMC Sierra ext Cab with the 5.0 to prepare it for some heavy towing when I move. I will have about 1000 lbs in the bed, and a 3300 lb trailer, so I am pushing this 20 year old K1500 pretty hard based on the recommended specs. So, the packaging was excellent, and prime shipping was 2 days, not to mention, the cheapest price I could find at under 90 dollars on Amazon, so great value.Install was super easy. The hardest part was removing my factory axle u bolts (had to grind them out). Other than that, I just put the 991's in place, long side to the rear, clamped them to the axle, raised my vehicle by the frame, u-bolted them to the leaf springs, and torqued them as equally as I could.I got about a 3/4" lift unloaded at my current torque (maybe 75% of max spring load). I saw an immediate difference in the suspension, and I am uploading a video to show the before and after. There is a huge difference in body roll. You can see how well this keeps the truck level compared to stock.I highly recommend this product if you need to push your vehicle to its reasonable working limit. For $85 you can improve your work truck, ride, and stability without a load leveling hitch or new leaf springs, which cost hundreds of dollars. Earned 5 stars. I will update after my 800 mile move.

Installed fine on 2006 Tundra DC V8 4x4 if you are willing to cut through some plastic rivets on the springs.
Easy enough to install on my 2006 Tundra Double cab 4.7L V8 4x4 truck. It did level out my truck in the rear with the 2001 Four Wheel camper Hawk in the back (about 850 pounds fully loaded). My one complaint is that the new U-bolt bottom brackets interfere with the plastic assembly rivets under the fore and aft position of each leaf spring. It was supposed to be a perfect fit for this truck, but I ended up having to saw off the bottoms of the plastic knobs. I have read of this issue with other installations in the same situation, so I was not surprised. But it is a bit odd that this design flaw has not been addressed yet. A plus for this system: It can be disengaged by simply removing the front and rear u-bolts and putting them in the glove compartment, leaving the leaf installed on the axle and under the bump stop. The unengaged leaf simply sits there as you drive around without a heavy load. On the truck there is plenty of room and the spring doesn't interfere with anything. That way, you aren't bouncing around stiffly when you don't have a load in the bed. And the reinstall is simple with two wrenches, taking about 20 minutes total for both sides.

Perfect support for 2000 Toyota tundra with 300k on suspension
Works great. Helps the leaf springs on my 300k Toyota Tundra. Stabilized the age worn spring without having to replace the whole thing. When truck is not loaded, there is not much pressure on the helper spring. Have it tightened all the way on shackle. Kicks in best when towing my camper. Big noticeable difference. Much Cheaper that an airbag system. Easy to install.

2006 Toyota Tundra (requires minor modifications)
I had to cut the plastic pins on both leaf packs. I even tried flipping the helper leafs around but they still came in contact with the plastic pins. Not a big deal to me, but it’s certainly not a direct fit for my first gen tundra. However, they’ve eliminated the sag that my old springs with over 250k miles have and they haven’t made the ride anymore stiff so overall I’m more than happy with them!

Terrible quality control
It would have taken 10 minutes to install but they sent the wrong size nuts with the u-bolts. Unfortunately I didn’t check to make sure everything was right. So I had to put the truck back together, drive to town, $2 in nuts and 45 minutes lost. Other than that, the helper kit works great and as it should. I’m no long hitting bump stops when loading 10 bags of deer corn in my 2001 tundra

Hardware is junk
The springs are good quality but the square clamps and nuts it comes with are junk the quality just isn't there the thread pitch on the nuts are just a hair off and it makes it difficult to install and the kit was missing a nut for the clamps had to go to the local hardware store and but nylon lock nuts to complete the job

Fast shipment, item came as described and works!
Works to stiffen up rear suspension on 1500 Express van with weak rear springs. Easy install as long as you have an impact wrench to get leaf spring shackle bolts off. Otherwise would take a bit of time manually doing it.

are excellent quality, and putting cheap hardware with them does ...
I installed these on an 03 Tundra. Lifted the rear of the truck about 1 1/2 inches. Improved body roll and handling noticeably well. I cannot comment a lot, on how much more the truck can carry, however, it is definitely a noticeable improvement as well.Only reason I rated 4 instead of 5 stars, is the hardware that comes with these are very cheap low grade. The springs themselves, are excellent quality, and putting cheap hardware with them does not make sense. A couple of tips- If your truck is older, The u bolts are most likely going to have to be replaced. I got mine at the local spring works, and they are quality grade 8 steel. Having a good impactwrench is nice makes the job easier. Also having a torque wrench is good. My tundra called for 80 foot pounds of torque. Overall, they are quite easy to install, and I am happy with them.Update note- Loaded 1/2 cord of hardwood on my Tundra today-These helper springs really did a great job with their extra support for the load, and also with driving...Again, happy with them.

Good improvement on suspension
Removing the four U bolts was brutally tough. Air tools would rove nuts. The addition of the helper Springdale a huge didderence in ride while towing my 27 ' trailer. I would recommend these as a build up.
