Item was as described and very reasonable.

This has a lot of transistors covering a large range of uses.There are, of course, plenty of the 2N2222 transistors because they're the most common you'll see in any circuits.PNP transistors are not as widely used as NPN, but there are circuits where that's what you have to use, and this has a pretty good variety of them as well.I've planned a good number of circuits lately, and every transistor I've needed was in the box.

Have only used one part so far and it functioned fine.

A good-sized set of GP Transistors that will work for various projects. I'm happy.

These are all TO92 plastic packed parts. A great assortment, but knowing which is the base, the collector and the emitter is a trial. The box has some cryptic bce, ecb, cbe and ecb marking on the printed cover but it’s not helpful.After using a multimeter to identify the base, I was using one transistor on a project and got the collector and the emitter reversed. The circuit worked on a 12v lead acid battery but failed miserably when I transitioned to a lithium battery which was running at 13.5v. The higher voltage was sufficient to cause the miswired transistor to breakdown and leak. It took quite a bit of fault finding. I went to a number of manufacturers websites and found all the curves I could hope for, but none provided the actual pin out. I ended up swapping the part and rewiring it which solved the problem.So I have a lot of discrete transistors but each part number has a mysterious (and different) pin out, making them almost useless.

Contained several of the transistors I needed for one of my projects. great assortment at an affordable price!
