The media could not be loaded. The Dreamer is my fifth drone and second Potensic, and it’s without a doubt the best one I’ve had. I’ve experienced great customer service from Potensic in the past so I’ve become very fond of the brand, and this model didn’t disappoint!First of all, it comes beautifully packaged - the pristine white boxing and wrapping inside is reminiscent of Apple products, making you feel right away that you are buying into quality.There is a little self-assembly to do, fitting the propellers and the toggles for the remote controller, but it’s fast and really simple, and the instructions are clear. Two spare props are supplied but you don’t get an SD card in the box, so remember to pick one of those up - I got a 64Gb one from Tesco’s for around a fiver, including the card-reader adaptor.If the paper instructions don’t tell you what you need to know, then the app certainly does. Download it immediately, it’s fantastic, definitely THE best app I’ve seen with all my previous drones to date and - along with the excellent tutorials - it tells you every little bit of info about your new aircraft that you need to know, including altitude, speed, battery power, GPS strength and a host of camera settings, far too many to walk through here.The battery charges fully in two hours for 30 mins flight time, the remote control charges in less time than that, but both of mine arrived almost fully charged so you can be flying very soon after delivery. (And I was!)Flying is an absolute delight. After a very simple and fast geo set up (explained in the tutorials) the Dreamer hovers at about 1.5 metres, and is incredibly stable. You are set to ‘Beginner Mode’ by default (with 30m limits on range) and that’s a good thing... because by the time you graduate to the ‘Sport Mode’ you realise that this craft is a BEAST - super fast and responsive! I was very quickly taking pics from 120m high and almost half a kilometre away - and still the auto ‘Return Home’ function landed me within 30cm of my take-off point!My first flight was in gusty winds, so some of the attached video is weaving a little - but bear in mind that this was my very first flight and immediately I was getting the most wonderful aerial views of my home town in Derbyshire that I’ve never seen before. I’ve read other reviews complain that the camera doesn’t have a gimbal, but it does have very good silicon cushioning and on a still day the images are superb. The video is high quality but the stills camera is just wow - 4K images, sharp as a knife and with numerous settings and options. The camera angle can be moved very easily with an ergonomically placed roller dial on the remote - in fact the design and feel of the remote in your hands is just about perfect overall.In conclusion, it’s pretty hard to find any negatives - you could spend a little more and get a gimbal or image stabilisation, but for this price range, and with the super deals that Potensic offer, this drone represents great value and the customer service from Potensic is second to none. The Dreamer doesn’t have automatic obstacle avoidance but it’s very hard to crash or even lose control of, and will also return home when the battery is low or if the signal becomes weak. It finds GPS satellites easily and I haven’t even scratched the surface of its functions. It’s exciting and fun to fly, and I’ve looked forward to taking it out every day since it arrived. I’m going to be spending a lot of time in the air over the next few months, that’s for sure! Highly recommended!

The media could not be loaded.  Built: Very good- But it would be better if the drone's propellers were a bit stronger and/or if you didn't have to take the blades off before putting the drone back in its box.Packaging: It arrives well packaged.- It would be better in my opinion if the drone could come with an aluminum box as an option (like the Potensic D58 for example).Fly Time/Battery Life: Well over the 30 minutes advertised! Well Impressed!Battery: It comes with only one battery, but with over 30 minutes flight on one charge, it's more than enough in most cases... It's also really quick to fully charge!Ease of use: I was concerned at first to fly such a drone rather than a pocket one... But you get used to it in no time at all! The pictures over the field were my very first attempt with this drone. The other ones and the video were taken during my second test flight, the very next day.Pictures and Video Quality: Excellent!Enclosed are a few pictures and one video I took with it. Unfortunately, Amazon's Upload degrades the quality of the pictures significantly but this should still give you a good idea.The fact you record the videos straight onto a mini-USB card makes the video a lot smoother than when sent from the drone to the phone over wireless. This also allows greater quality and otherwise the size of the files might just be too large to sent over wireless without losing too much quality.Flying Altitude: It can fly over 31 meters (that's over 100 feet!!!) as shown in the pictures of the statistics enclosed. These stats were generated automatically by the application which has a great interface.Application Interface: Has a lot of features that I still have to explore. But overall, It still managed to get the drone airborne within 5 minutes of taking it out of its box, using a mix of the remote and the phone application.It even has a little map to show you where the drone is in comparison to yourself so no risk of losing the drone!Note that there are some joysticks in a compartment within the remote control itself. Personally, I didn't use them as it was easy to control the drone without them.Other notes and considerationsBefore using it, fully charge the remote control using a USB Plug (no batteries to insert) and the drone's battery (no USB Plug, just a normal socket).--> It would be better if the drone's battery could also be charged on USB so I could then charge it in my car, but with 30 minutes flight on one charge, it's not bad at all!Make sure you have a mini-USB card that fits right behind the drone's camera so you can take pictures and videos as these are not sent directly to the phone.On the blades and on the drones, there are marks CW and CCW (2 of each). Make sure to put the CW Blades only on the rotor marked CW and the CCW blades on the CCW rotor or a blade or two might just be thrown off, making the drone flip on its side (I experienced it first hand!).As mentioned, it would be great if the drone could come in an aluminum box (as an option) so you don't even have to take the blades off to put the drone away in its box.SummaryI'm really impressed with the battery life of this drone and its charging time is very impressive as well!I'm not sure I would recommend this drone for a first time user as it might be slightly overwhelming nevertheless it's pretty straightforward (though I haven't used all the functions!) but for anyone who likes to see things under a different angle (and even from high at over 100 feet) then this is the "gadget" for you! But for me, it's more than a gadget... Having mobility issues, this drone allows me to see various things I would not be able to see otherwise! I absolutely love it and I just wish I had such a drone earlier!ConclusionI enjoy every minute spent with that drone! Highly recommended!The Dreamer drone is a dream to fly!

The video quality is very poor 😕. At 60 fps it is like waves.I don't recomand

Good drone robust sturdy build. Camera excellent quality for photos, videos are not so good due to no gimbal stabilisation for the camera. You can get the gimbal version from Amazon US for the same price and this likely a better option if stable videos are important to you and not just photos. Both versions have a nice controller which can take any size phone so you can see what the camera sees during flight.

I have had this drone a while now. It ticks all the boxes. Have had a few now and one common problem is the battery life, this one has the longest battery life I have ever know and has a spare one so that’s around an hour of flying time. It is very easy to fly but definitely not boring and has loads of what I call “get you out of trouble buttons” like HOME and LAND. The price is also amazing for what you get
