Better and Cheaper Than Canon
Less than $35 including shipping, compared to Canon's NB-CP2L for $50-$70. This battery is rated at 1800 mAh, compared to Canon's 1200 mAh. Fits perfectly into the Canon charger. No noticeable battery drain when turned off, and usually charges in 1-2 hours instead of the advertised 4 hours. Yes, I would recommend it! Get two of these instead of one Canon! After six weeks of use: Still 5 star! I've made over 100 prints with the Selphy CP900. For convenience I use this unplugged from AC and it goes for weeks without battery drain. I've only charged the battery a couple of times. There's no low battery indicator, so I don't really know how long it will last, but I'm quite satisfied.

It works
Placed the battery in the CP800 printer, plugged in the printer and the battery began charging. Didn't time the charge but it charged in a couple of hours as I recall. Battery fit the battery location in the printer correctly. This printer is configured to charge the battery so no separate battery charger is needed. Battery is working fine and printer operates nicely. Should the battery fail prematurely, I'll return with a new review. Additonally, as I ordered the battery online, it was at the front door as I closed the window on the computer. Just kidding, the battery showed up in a couple of days, so the shipping was great.

Work about as well as Canon NB-CP2L
When my original Canon NB-CP2L battery went bad after 10 months I decided to try Wasabi. Overall the performance is about the same. It worked very well for the first few months... I was able to print all I wanted (15 - 20 prints a day). But fizzled out after 9-10 months. After buying 5-6 different batteries form Canon, Wasabi, and Kapaxen, I'm convinced that they all work about the same, and you have ot take care of them. Furthermore, when Canon came out with the 900 and 910 series, they no longer allow the battery to conveniently fit on the back. You have to seat in in a separate charger and wire it in.... cumbersome. and have made their newer printer . I think all of these batteries work about the same but you need to remember to take good care of them... ie don't drain it and leave drained for weeks.. Both of these batteries died within 9 months, however I may have left them in the charger too long, or drained them too long. To be fair, I had the same problem with the OEM Brand Canon.

CP 1500
Works right out of box on my CP 1500! When I connected the battery it showed on the cp1500 the battery life and registered as 100% (which I doubt), but when I connected the cable to the cp1500 with the battery attached it started to charge! Overall worth it for those looking to make their cp1500 portable! I haven't been able to see how many prints it will make on one charge, but from what others have written it seems that 35 to 40 is the average, which is more than enough for me!

Gave my printer new features!
Connected to my Canon printer, and now I am fully mobile! I was using a power station that was 12lbs, and now having this battery pack will allow me to be more portable!Charged as normal, and have not had any issues!

Just like the Canon Selphy brand battery for 1/3 the price
We like the portability and photo quality of the little Canon Selphy printer but wow was the OEM battery expensive. That Canon battery was almost as much as the printer. This Wasabi knock-off performs perfect and it was 1/3 the price. Definitely a buy but you have to keep searching on Amazon to find it. The more expensive ones show up first. Keep looking to get the Wasabi one.

One Star
Doesn't hold a charge from day 1. I purchased the charger with the battery. let it charge over night . Next day still dead. ALL POINTS WERE HOOKED UP CORRECTLY. Wasted money on charger and Battery.
