The WTB adVenture will take you everywhere!
By far the best all around tire for your dropbar MTB! From hardpack to loose singletracks, these tires will not let you down. They will eat up any gravel you feed them!

Versatile Tire
Although these tires do roll slower on pavement, I like the extra cushion and traction in the dirt and gravel. For the price they are as good as I have found for a casual rider who needs a do it all tire.

Comfort and nice grip
I was using 28c and it make a big diference in comfort and grip. I use soap & water for instalation to avoid wobble

Great traction tire
Aggressive bite for gravel trails offering a better sense of control. Rugged tire offers greater puncture resistance.

What a difference!
I love how smooth it feels on my gravel rides. With 40 lbs of air, feels feels cushy(I weigh 170). Width is great for traction and confidence.

Watch for bead failures
Rode these tires (and the supple version) for about a year without any major issue. Then one failed at the sidewall bead. Completely failed leaving my stranded. WTB replaced it with another tire. Also failed within a few rides. Finally got a third tire which also failed leaving me stranded again.Switched to some Teravail Sparwoods without and bead issue. Not sure if it was a batch issue or not, but I won't be buying WTB tires again any time soon.

Tire weight grossly misquoted
Ad copy showed 551g, actual weight 738g, yet marked as "light". Otherwise, looks great.

Paper thin - bring extra plugs!!!
I received 9 punctures within the first 2 weeks of riding these tires on mixed gravel and paved roads. No amount of tubeless sealant could keep these tires rolling. Never in my 20 years of riding bikes have I experienced a tire so prone to punctures. If you risk gravel riding on this tire make sure to pack extra repair supplies because you will use all of them - and ride with friends, because you will need theirs too!!I reached out to WTB before leaving this review and was informed that I did not receive a defective tire and that they consider 9 flats in a week on brand new tires "just part of riding"..... I feel bad for anyone with WTB tires on their wheels because 9 flats in a week does not actually have to be "just part of riding" - plenty of reliable options on the market that won't shred themselves apart as soon as they touch the ground.Don't believe the marketing hype - this is NOT the "Adventure/Gravel" tire you are looking for
