I’ve had my LED strip up for about a week and all is well so far. Considering the brightness, variety of settings, and the quality of the packaging (among other things), I really do feel you get your money’s worth.A couple observations:1.) I have a textured wall so I used a lightly damp sponge with warm water and a little soap to make sure the wall was as clean as possible. I then dabbed dry with a paper towel. I was really uncertain whether the adhesive on the back of the strip would be strong enough but I’ve had no issues so far. I also used the adhesive clips and the screws for good measure.2.) The app is just okay. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn’t. I far prefer the remote. The ability to sync music on your phone to the light strip sounds cool but I felt it was somewhat gimmicky.3.) While the light strip works well, I found it to be fragile. From the moment you take it out of the box, be gentle with it. This is not a heavy duty strip of lights and it wouldn’t take much to accidentally damage it.Overall, I’m pleased and I’m curious to see how long this strip lasts. I’ve read some reviews about them not being long-lasting so we’ll see. Also, I am concerned about the possibility of the adhesive damaging the wall if I eventually have to take the light strip down for some reason. That possibility is definitely worth considering before you purchase.UPDATE:I’ve now had my LED strip up for 5.5 months and I use them daily. I’m still very satisfied with them and the adhesive continues to work well. However, tonight I noticed a couple of lights misbehaving. This is the first time I’ve had any issue. With some colors the problem goes away. Considering how cheap these lights are, I’m surprised a problem didn’t crop up sooner so I still feel the value is strong. I’m a bit disappointed but that’s okay. I plan to leave it alone for now. I could replace the strip with a new one but I’ve heard horror stories about the damage they can cause to walls when removed.

My daughter wanted this for Christmas. I had no idea such a product even existed. She was so thrilled to open it Christmas morning. We immediately hung it and found, as others have mentioned on their reviews, that the adhesion is poor. I wish it came with more of the clips that screw into the wall. Our light strip covers three walls and we had six clips so we put one near each corner of each wall. We could have used ten more. I have used the poster putty in several places behind the strip and it seems to be holding well. The lights themselves are delightful! My daughter loves the remote control and the app which she can adjust to various settings. It is a fun feature in her bedroom. My husband wishes they came for outside use and we would use them for Christmas lights!

I keep them on almost 24/7

These are very cool likes, and nice looking, the only thing I don't like is when I pair them to my bluetooth music on my phone they work just for some reason its takes forever to change the red light when music is playing I don't know if the led lights are in love with red but its shows the other colors for about 3 seconds each and then back to red, and another this is they leds says it has a white mode its looks like its still blue, I have white lights and this white one doesn't look like that what I have at all, and I just wish they were a little bit brighter... now all and all don't get me wrong these are really good lights this is just how I feel about them...

These are very nice bright lights. We had the two 10 foot rolls in my daughter's room and opted for these instead since it's one 40 foot roll and went around her whole room almost with only one power cord hanging down. The first set stopped working after about 3 days but the company responded within hours after i requested another set and shipped them to me right away...they were bery easy to work with and defects happen. Lights are easy to put up and so far no problems with the app. I have a very happy teenager.

I installed these up in my daughter's room. They were exactly what she wanted. Pointer: put up double sided adhesive tape first, then put lights up. (If you are planning on leaving them up permanently.These lights have been up for over 4 weeks now and they are not budging at all, pretty impressed with the strength on this tape!The lights give off a lot of color and the different settings allow for nice change ups. Choices are endless- timer mode is great, since she uses them as night lights, and we can set them to shut off around 11 o’clock when we know she is asleep.These were an amazing Value!I have bought a few different types of these Bluetooth kits, and these are by far my favorite, and the most affordable.. the app synced seamlessly with her IPhone 8, as well!! Absolutely love them!

Works great

Lights work great and were easy to place but the app they tell you to download to have access to extra features is no longer available which is extremely annoying and disappointing. Am currently waiting to hear back from the company in regards to the app and will update my post once I have.Update 1: I heard back from thr company and they changed the app to "homeplus light" but whenever I try to download it days unable to download and the reviews of the app say others cannot download either. I emailed company again and their response was to download homeplus light. I once again emailed to tell them that app isn't working and they need to fix it and am currently awaiting that response.If you are wanting just plain light to use with a remote get these but if you are wanting the added features such as setting the lights to music skip these as having an app to use is misleading since you cannot get an app to download.

This is 4th time Ive purchased this same product - all have been different lengths to affix to different room sizes/perimeters.My son & daughter love this in their dorm rooms or at home bedrooms/basement. It seems very popular. Easy to install and trim. And it adds a zing or splash of color to room while gaming , er studying.Suggestion 1: It adheres to wall paint very well. Too well. Id like to see the adhesive be a little more friendlier to remove like 3m tape .. so you dont rip any paint off landlords wall when moving son/daughter out at end of lease.Suggestion 2: the remotes (provided or via phone app) work very well. What we,ve noticed is that sometimes 1 remote can control another rooms lights. I think it might be on same frequency? A little challenging for bedrooms next to each other. Ie: son wants xbox green, and daughter wants light pink. Plus dont see a work around online.Otherwise highly recommend.

I love these lights, so pretty and bright. Many colour modes and settings, plus a long power cable (unlike most led lights I've had before). however, I couldn't find the 'vilsom home' app on google play. When I searched for the app on google it gave me an app called 'govee' and it did not connect to my led strips. (The specific light strips weren't even on the 'connect device' page!). Overall I love these lights and my favourite colour setting is the blueish purple one. I'll be fine without the app this product suggested came with this item, but if thats what customers with an android phone want it probably won't be happening.

Worth the money, not high quality but they still work great. A couple lights are a little off otherwise very happy with how fast they came and the price I got for them!:) recommended to anyone looking to add a little something to their room/ home. also a bonus is they don’t overheat at all, as with other led lights they get warm and damage the paint.

This set works fine, leds are bright, the remote can be pointed in any directions BUT the adhesive started to comes off after 24 hours. It is installed on new painted walls (one week dried) so no grease or dust. I have to put some other tape and i don't want to use the clips that comes with the set, they look horrible. Won't buy againthe only thing that is very good is the IR receptor that is mounted directly with the led strips.
