Best Keyboard for the Value, Bluetooth set-up is a hassle
Update: Two things. One, If you hold the Fn key and select either "A/Win" or "S/Mac" you can switch the keyboard layout instead of doing so manually from the keyboard settings on your Mac. And the reason I originally gave 4 stars, wireless connection has been resolved. Let me tell you how this is completed:Turn on the bluetooth switch on the back of the keyboardFn+R activates wireless modeHold Fn+Q/W/E for 3 seconds (keyboard should light up and flicker)Go to Bluetooth connections in Settings and select "Connect" (may give you the name of the device or its MAC number)I've been using this keyboard for a few days now. I had purchased a different keyboard that I had thought was wireless, but just ended up being easy to travel with. This Velocifire keyboard is supposedly wireless via bluetooth. But I can say that it is in fact not working on my 2017 MacBook Pro. Updated the bluetooth firmware on my MacBook, but after reading a few other reviews I guess I need to use the .exe file that can be found on their website (in a Google Doc). This however poses a problem. My MacBook cannot run .exe files and since this is a work laptop I can't install something like Parallax or Wine to get past this issue.tdlr; Bluetooth Wireless does not work without a firmware update that is only accessible on Windows PC's and Linux... MacBook users look elsewhere for a Wireless KeyboardOn to what I think about the keyboard itself. The clicky-ness is phenomenal, a legitimate cherry red mechanical keyboard. The keys are easy to read regardless of lighting conditions and the keyboard is set up to display the keys on a Windows and a Mac keyboard. You have your typical "Ctrl+Windows+Alt" keys and your "Control+Option+Command" keys. It's truly versatile. It's small, but that's exactly the purpose. Takes some time to get used to using some keys (the Fn key controls not just the Fn associated keys) but overall it's well worth the learning curve to have a few more options available to such a small size keyboard.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, Wireless or not. For under $25 I can deal with the fact I need to be on a wired connection in the office. But I just wish they could have been more clear, like "Firmware Update Required for Apple PC's and the update file is .exe" but maybe I'm just asking for too much. Would have been 5 stars had they either provided that information or included the firmware update on the keyboard prior to shipping.

Nice keyboard, but not 100% Mac compatible
Update: the seller reached out to me and offered to exchange the keyboard for one that is truly Mac OS compatible. The replacement is wired, but I will say the replacement is really nice. And... I appreciate the seller being proactive with problems. I would buy from them again.Original review: This is a nice, solid keyboard... it has some significant weight to it and feels well made. It has some nice features like the bluetooth and lighted keys. Unfortunately, it's not 100% mac compatible. The keys across the top (function keys) do NOT adjust volume, display brightness, etc on a Mac. I followed the instructions to set the keyboard to Mac format, but those keys did not do what they are supposed to do. I reached out to the seller and explained the issue... they just sent me the instruction pamphlet that I already had. If you're on a PC it's probably great, but if you're on a Mac... keep looking.

My First Mechanical Keyboard — Good.
The media could not be loaded. First and foremost I want to say that I received this keyboard for testing purposes. I am a regular guy who has been looking for a good Bluetooth keyboard for a few weeks, and after a week of testing this, I am glad to be using this device.Use case: I'm a graduate student who needs accurate and quick typing capabilities. Only using with Bluetooth. Purchased this form factor and Bluetooth capability to save space on my desk and increase portability within my home during the COVID-19 pandemic.First impressions: the keyboard has a premium feel, with a good deal of heft. The four rubber feet of the keyboard prevent 100% of sliding.Pairing: Paired with a new Macbook Air M1. A quick search of some comments on another Velocifire item helped me pair it alongside the instruction manual.Features: I really do think there's a lot to like with this keyboard. I've used it for a week as my "daily driver" and haven't had to charge it once. This is pretty impressive considering that I have been experimenting with the 17 light modes, which fall into three categories: completely off, on constantly, or on when a key is pressed (there's a ton of different features that you can scroll through by clicking function along with I/O/P.Mac compatibility: All in all, Mac compatibility is fairly seamless. Having to use the function key to use the forward slash is the only awkward thing, as the default mode here has the up-key and forward-slash as the same key, thus needing the Fn key to type the /. Took some getting used to. No lag has been experienced using this in Wired or Bluetooth mode.Feel: As I mentioned, this is my first mechanical keyboard, let alone a TCL (ten keyless) design. These are a brown variety key: many people on the Internet suggest Browns as a good first mechanical key switch variety. I am personally pleased with the Brown feel and tactile feedback. I have found myself bottoming out often, but this has revealed that I am a hard typist, and now I am trying to reduce my pressure so I am more efficient. My typing speed right out of the box was about 10% faster over my Macbook Air keyboard. All of that said, if you haven't used a mechanical keyboard before, I recommend this as your introduction—it really does make you want to type more.Concluding thoughts: All in all, this is a keyboard that I am quite pleased with and expect to get years of use out of. I highly recommend keeping the User Manual close by as this keyboard has lots of features. The keyboard's compact size increases portability without sacrificing anything in the way of functionality. The build quality feels really good in a way that other keyboards I have purchased simply don't feel. Battery life remains to be completely seen but so far seems plenty (again, heavy use and still working on a charge for over a week while using the lights.) A true upgrade over my wired Windows keyboard.
