where is the vise made.details say imported, review says american.

Deborah - this vise is manufactured in China. One reviewer posted that it was American made, and I apologize for that confusion. If you want a USA made vise try the Yost 865-DI, our entry level USA vise.

what is the diminsion of the bolt down pattern?

The holes are spaced 4.25 inches center to center in a square pattern. The base is about 5 inches.

Can anyone tell me the approximate length, width, and height? Thank you.

Approximate dimensions are 6.5 inched high, 4.5 inches wide (at the jaws) and 10.5 inches deep. The base of the vise is 6.5 inches x 6.5 inches and mounts using four bolts. The swivel adjustment bar extends about 2 inches beyond the base.

How many inches apart are the bolt holes that hold this vice to the workbench?

It's an asymmetrical bolt pattern. One side is spaced 3-1/2" on-center, the other side is 4-1/2". 4 inches on center from one side to the other.
