This came very well packaged and delivered as stated. Setup was easy and fully operational within 12 hrs., including charging! Block function is perfect! The announcement of who's calling is great and gives you time to block unwanted calls. Easy Bluetooth setup from cell phone to add contacts. Very satisfied!!!

We set up this phone so we can answer calls on landline or either of our two cell phones with the same handset. Overall setup isn't too bad, but there are separate instructions for setting up Smart Call Blocking, and they're complicated. Perhaps the hardest part of setup is deciding which of five "Profile" settings you want to use. There are options on how to handle unknown, blacklisted and other calls, but not every combination is available. Carefully read the description of each profile before choosing. One drawback, though not the fault of this system directly, is that your cell phones may send incoming calls to this unit without doing their own call blocking first. It's a common problem with any computerized system - you can't usually choose the order in which programmed rules are applied.On balance, we found this phone and answering system useful. Just be prepared to make changes to settings if you find it's not doing what you want.

We loved the look and feel of this phone, but a design flaw with the Call Screening feature in the Answering Machine proved to be a deal breaker. After speaking with VTECH Tech Support it was determined that the issue could not be resolved and they advised that we return the phone system as DEFECTIVE.However… This problem is not limited to our returned unit, but is present in ALL systems in this product line!This problem has been reported on here numerous times by other buyers complaining about a loud squealing (Audio Feedback) when attempting to answer a call after the Answering Machine has begun to record a caller's message. For some reason, when you pick up any handset or answer at the base with a handset, the base unit keeps the microphone open and any ambient noise coming from the room where the base is located will be injected into the audio of the phone call. If you answer at the base with the handset, you will get very loud feedback (Squealing) from the handset feeding back into the open mic on the base.If you pick up the call from another room with any of the handsets, this design flaw makes it nearly impossible to hear the party on the line if there is any ambient noise in the room where the base is located. (TV, Radio, Stereo etc.) The only way to stop this is to physically push the LIGHTED RED PLAYBACK button on the base for the Answering Machine, and turn off the recording manually. After doing this, the red light will go off and the microphone on the base is immediately turned off and the problem is solved.Unfortunately, this isn't an acceptable solution and so despite us really liking this phone system's design and physical appearance, we returned it for a refund and purchased a Panasonic system instead. The Panasonic KX-TGF544B phone system is working perfectly, and we can once again screen calls from the Answering Machine and if we choose to pick up the phone, there is no feedback or ambient noise injected into the call from the base unit like we saw with the VTECH.Too bad that this design flaw was allowed to remain in this phone system despite numerous reports of a problem with the Call Screening feature not working properly.My advice to anyone considering this product would be to avoid it if you ever plan to screen your calls via the answering machine.

I was very disappointed in these phones, the build quality was subpar and the sound was cheap radio quality. The Cell 2 Phone was sketchy and the people who were on the other end would complain about echoing.The buttons felt cheap and creaky, nothing like the buttons on my older Panasonic phones.Very difficult to setup with the hard to navigate menus.I usually don’t write harsh reviews but these phones don’t deserve anything but.I returned them for a refund.

My elderly parents have mobility and vision issues so I purchased these phones for my parents use in their home because of the large screen size, easy to read text, and Caller ID voice announcement. They have used them 2 months now and just love them. I configured the Call Blocking features and Caller ID announcement features for them and not only has significantly reduced the number of the scam/nuisance calls they have to deal with but they no longer have to get up to to see it on the base station or read it on the small screens of their previous phone system. When they do need to interact with the screens they can now actually read the information. Having the 3 handsets allows them to have easy access to one where they are in the house while limiting their need to move about and thus reduces their fall risk. For people who basically have everything they need in their house it was the best Christmas present I have been able to buy them in years.

I bought this for my wife, she is completely satisfied, that makes my life a lot better.

I used to get up to 15 nuisance calls per day starting at 6:00 AM, and going on until 8:00 PM. Now I get 0. I use the call block feature to screen all calls. It's wonderful, and my house is quiet for a change. I am still getting used to some features, but overall, I am more than happy. It's not that difficult to set up either, if I can figure it out anyone can.
